Who made him the authority? Why none other than the Real,True Fan Association or RTFA for short. Blueday is Chairman on deciding who contributes to Michigan athletics as well as True Fan designation, northwest division, and if you want your petition to be read during this week's meeting I suggest you get it in to him soon as there is quite the backlog for review.
BTW Blueday won the election for these esteemed posts in a landside 1 vote to 0.

Senior day or not, cheap tickets or not, I have the utmost respect for anybody who will sit in freezing rain to watch bad football. To me, freezing rain is the absolute WORST condition (far worse than snow) cause it penetrates whatever you're wearing and chills your entire body. The only games I ever remember leaving early-regardless of the score-were games played in freezing rain.

Go here and you wont to leave. EVER.
Me and MGoSoftball spent New Year's day there during the Sugar Bowl and had a blast. About a jillion different beers on tap, amazing oysters and a HUGE selection of Po Boys. Oh yeah - and about 500 TVs. And everywhere are picnic tables so if you go alone you'll make friends fast with the people around you.
I'm telling you if I lived in NOLA I might get mail delivered there. It's freaking awesome.

Villanova is to basketball rankings as Notre Dame is to football.
For reasons that escape me they are anually massively over-ranked, over-seeded and flame out earlier than projected.

You know what we call that here in the UP? When that much snows falls in a couple of days?
I'll tell you what we call it.
A fucking light dusting that's what we call it. And here's a picture from the front of my house in the UP and I took it LAST AUGUST right before I went swimming you pansy-asses

I remember those debates well. And next year, even with the attractive home schedule, I predict the money you would save on the "bad" games on Stubhub will more than offset the cost of the good games plus the PSL fees. But candidly there's really no point in bringing it up again IMO because it's really an apples to oranges comparson.
If you like your seat location and you like the people you sit near then full price season tickets and the PSLs are the way to go. If you like money then the secondary market is your friend.

Unbelievably the price has dropped.
Now you can get them for $13.00 even.

Actually Brian posted the UFRs days ago and they were AWESOME! Probably the best UFRs in the history of UFRs IMO. There was quite the spirited debate on playcalling between Space, Magnus & Brian that I'm sure will make the MGoBlog HOF and at the end several long time posters got BANNED! It was a site to behold.
Can't believe you missed it Darker. Oh wait. You're not in the secret content club are you? I'm sorry, I forgot that you hadn't been invited so you prolly didn't know anything about this section of the board.

Unrelated to the thread topic at hand but how about those t-shirts those ladies with Charlie are modeling? They may be a bit on the plus size but damn if advertising like that isn't one hell of an equalizer.

|2 days 22 hours ago||It's not done everywhere the||
It's not done everywhere the same though. Here in Cleveland my late Father-in-Law paid for his Browns PSL once and that was it. Sort of like a country club membership in that he "owns" the PSL in perpetuity (he got it transferred to our name once he passed away) but you only pay once and that's it.
The Cavs, however, this year launched the "Wine & Gold" club which is very similar to the Michigan model. I paid $38/seat for three seats in a 10 game package but before they would transfer the seats to my account I had to pay an additional $900 ($300/seat) for my "membership". Obviously they are taking advantadge of the surge in ticket demand because it never existed before this year.
The problem Michigan has now is that they've already spent the PSL money in building projects s they can't dial it back without running out money elsewhere. They are definitely between a rock and a hard place financially.

Funny how getting down on the field is now a big deal. It didnt used to be - heck, when I was in school the damn stadium was left open in the off season and anybody could get on the field that wanted to.
On the first really snowy/icey day we used to swipe a bunch of trays from the cafeteria and then go "sledding" down the steps and onto the field. We built a ramp over the wall and with the astro turf frozen you could travel quite a ways if you could hit the field with some momemtum!

That's prolly not as big of an obsticle to your quest as the 5,241 tickets available on StubHub right now with the lowest price ticket going for a princely $13.95.

|3 days 14 hours ago||Hey guys - not really META||
Hey guys - not really META thread worthy but I'm pretty sure there's something goofy going on that's causing quite the double post outbreak on the site. Veteran posters who definitely know not to hit "save" more than once are having it happen to them and if you look at virtually any thread you'll see multiple double postings across the board. And most are followed by a "I dont know what just happened" explanation.
Over the past couple of weeks I've had three or four and I'll bet I didnt have any (outside of a post game site melt down) in the past three years. Yesterday I had one where i absolutely know I didnt hit save more than once and the double post appeared immediately. Just thought I give you guys a heads up if you hadnt noticed this already.

I shared a similar observation during the Minnesota game regarding Hoke's refusal to put in Gardner but I speculated the reason differently. To me it seemed as if he left him in to "prove a point" to whoever ordered him to play Morris and to me it appeared to have Brandon's fingerprints all over it.
It sure seemed to me like Hoke was determined to show somebody that Morris wasnt ready to play and I think Brandon would have a hell of a lot more ability to influence that than us fans do.

I cannot even imagine how difficult it must be for Hoke to recruit right now, both internally (he has to know the likelyhood of him ever actually coaching the kid is very low) and externally (the negative recruiting must be running wild).
I give him credit for still swinging though. That definitely says something about the man in my book.

Having lived here for the past 25 years I completely understand why Jim's wife might move here to Northern Ohio but not back to Ann Arbor.
They don't refer to Cleveland as the "Aruba of the Midwest" for nothing.

He'll take a year off and then land at a smaller program someplace as a HC. He's a good guy and prolly a decent coach - just not at a program as large as Michigan's with all that goes with the job here outside of football.

Anybody else noticed that pressers seem a lot more forthright now that Brandon's gone? I wonder how much Hoke was muzzled prior to DBs departure.
|4 days 18 hours ago||2009 would definitely give||
2009 would definitely give this year a run for it's money - both on the field and off. The beginning of 2008 with the player transfers and the end of 2010 with the team cratering and Grobangate coupled with the "will he stay or will he go" saga were no box of chocolates either but top to bottom clusterfuckiness?
2014 wins the gold IMO.

I've been saying Mullen is not going to Florida for a while now. One of my exployees is an ex-player there and pretty connected to the Athletic Department. He said there is a lot of bad blood between Foley & Mullen.
If we cant get Jim Harbaugh that's who I want.
