Personally I'm a "Seth" guy. Tonto v Lone Ranger, Robin v Batman.....you understand.
|1 hour 30 min ago||Welcome to the club||
I was there on Sunday when it started. But then again my memory of the games against those fuckwads either stealing a win or being the beneficiary of insane luck goes back further than most so I guess that's understandable.
Post shit talking posts Saturday afternoon AFTER we win....not before.
|1 hour 45 min ago||FYI||
The word was chosen on purpose. Imagine how horrible his life would be if he had done the actual right thing and stopped the rape. He probably wouldnt be 7.9MM richer tonight. He would just know he did the right thing.
I'm sorry Steven but we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I know you deal with a lot of people in situations like this but in this case I can absolutely say I do know how I'd act (and I think how you'd probably act too) if witnissing a child rape and the rape would stop.
I might get my ass kicked but the rape would stop.
|2 hours 10 min ago||Look up the Kitty Genovese case||
I think you're right we'll need to agree to disagree cause the thing I'm outraged at you apparently cannot comprehend. I am not outraged at a a DUI - I'm outraged at the thought of a grown, adult, large, athletic man doing absolutely nothing to stop a rape and allowing a boy to be violated by a 60 year old man.
That's a moral issue - not a legal one - so I could give two shits if he won a suit that proved his employer acted improperly afterwards. My outrage is predicated on the basic assumption that a decent human being would act to stop a child from being raped. Especially if the rapist was an old man who posed no physical threat on any level to the witness.
Apparently that assumption is wrong.
|2 hours 22 min ago||Come on Stephen||
No one's arguing that Sandusky isnt the villain. But a jury apparently thinks Sandusky is a hero and awarded him 7.9 for his couragious reporting of a rape he did nothing to stop.
So just wondering.....do you think the people in the apartment building of Kitty Genovese were justified in their doing nothing? Cause I'm at loss to see the difference.
A 6'4", 240 pound athletic man walked in on a 60 year old man raping a child and HID. This is far from "not being perfect". This is basically divorcing yourself of the ethics and morality of helping the helpless on all levels and I dont know how that can be excused away.
|2 hours 41 min ago||Close||
I'm blaming him for being a 6'5", 240 pound coward who, when witnessing another man raping a child DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Good lord man what part of that doesnt outrage you? Forget for a minute what he did the following day - focus on what he did that day. HE DID NOTHING. He allowed Sandusky to continue to rape the boy unabated and didnt step in to stop it.
If he had been the 60 year old man and the rapist had been the very large young man I might understand his reluctance to step in but given his physical superiority over Sandusky he has no excuse in my mind.
How anyone can look at that and not be outraged amazes me.
|3 hours 1 min ago||So the moral of the story is.....||
If your lucky enough to witness a co-worker raping a child for God's sake dont intervine and break it up. Hide, and then hope your company is mean to you so you can collect a huge judgement for meanness.
Good lord this is so freaking wrong. Fucking coward gets 7.9MM for walking in on a rape and not stopping it.
|3 hours 20 min ago||Don't agree on this one||
Don't agree on this one Stephen. He witnessed an active crime and instead of intervening and stopping it he first hid and then, when he felt he was safe from the naked 60 year old man raping a child, he sent home. I'm sorry but morally his actions that day make me want to vomit and the fact that he's going to be very very rich AND DID NOTHING TO HELP THAT CHILD is wrong on so many levels I don't know even where to begin.
|7 hours 7 min ago||Question 22||
22. Q Notorious GiB> Is your trailer a single wide or double wide?
When contrasted to the income level demographics of the board my conclusion is you guys in Michigan must have REALLY nice mobile homes.
|7 hours 45 min ago||Maybe||
Or maybe we found yet another alias of RDT. Either way impressive body of work that's for sure.
|8 hours 18 min ago||Well one thing's for absolutely sure||
Whoever "Teginator" is has significantly more free time in their life than I do. That baby took some work.
A for effort!
|11 hours 19 min ago||Seriously?||
This is like "post video or share stories of why you think poop smells bad"
I don't think it's really necessary to provide proof here.
|11 hours 21 min ago||Damn||
I thought i was just being funny-not cranky. Didnt know you guys were all such big fans of Fresno.
|11 hours 52 min ago||Amen to that||
Go re-watch the 2005 Rose Bowl and count how many times we had Vince Young dead to rights only to watch him get away and turn a big loss into positive yardage. Just because you have somebody contained doesnt mean you have them on the ground.
|11 hours 56 min ago||You think so?||
I have yet to see even ONE thread started about Fresno. Seems like something nobody really gives two shits about.
|13 hours 9 min ago||Dirty little secret||
Every single fan base in America is convinced of two basic truths:
1. The announcers are assaigned to their game are completely biased and favor the other side
2. The officials are assaigned are equally if not more so biased for the other side
It's funny - if you read the comments made in other team's blogs and such you'll see it over and over from everyone. And if you watch the game as an unbiased observer you'll be hard-pressed to see or hear any real bias one way or the other.
The one thing I do believe is true is that officials and announcers alike kinda "root" for the underdog so if one team is vastly superior to the other you're likely to notice them helping the side less talented during the game. So expect to see & hear what seems to be pro-MSU talk & calls if we're really putting the wood to them during the game.
|13 hours 45 min ago||I will admidt I thought about that as I posted it....||
But it's all good!

At the .57 second mark appears what might possibly be the single worst representation of the block M I have ever seen.

1978 - #4 ranked and undefeated Michigan loses at MSU 24-15 to an unranked MSU team
1990 - #1 ranked Michigan opens season at home against unranked MSU and loses 28-27 on a game stolen from them by an official refusing to call obvious pass interference against the MSU DB (who he happened to coach the year before btw)
1993 - #8 ranked and undefeated Michigan loses at MSU to an unranked MSU team
1995 - #7 ranked with one loss Michigan loses at MSU to an unranked MSU team
1999 - #3 ranked and undefeated Michigan loses 34-31 to #9 ranked MSU at E. Lansing
2001- #2 ranked and undefeated Michigan loses 26-24 to unranked MSU in the infamous "Spartan Bob" clock game
And from 2008 to this year we've won exactly one game, that the 2011 "thank you Deleo" where an undefeated Michigan team BARELY beats MSU on the last play of the game. Other than that it's been all Sparty for the past 9 years.
So let me ask you a question. When you look at the past (both recent and historically) why wouldnt I be a bit concerned over this game - our present lofty ranking and record notwithstanding? History would seem to indicate we have a good reason to be a bit reserved, shall we say, in putting this one in the win collumn before it's played.
|1 day 9 hours ago||Your welcome||
Let me know when your class is scheduled to learn about the proper time and place for talking trash about opponents and I'll be happy to assist then as well. Although I must warn you I am old school (obviously) in believing that it's generally advised to actually accomplish something prior to bragging about it.
|1 day 9 hours ago||My Ufer story||
Missed the Indiana game in 79 to go visit some friends at CMU. Seemed like a good game to skip as we were suppose to roll them so I sold my ticket and headed to Mt Pleasant. Coming home late Saturday I put the game on WJR as I hit #23 South with about four minutes to go and realized this was NOT going according to plan.
So I'm in heavy traffic on 23 when Wangler hits Carter fort he TD pass to end the game and Ufer loses his mind. All I can hear is him screaming.....the George Patton horn sqawking and knowing something very good must've just happened but I have no clue what it was. Every car around me starts hitting their horn and Ufer is almost catotonic on the air.
|1 day 10 hours ago||Not not alone||
But apparently the solution to your concern is to post endless threads proclaiming our inevitable domination and upcoming victory on Saturday and to let the world know there is exactly 0.0% chance of losing, the only realy question is will we win 63-0 or 77-0 and to consider the possibility of anything remotely going wrong prior to the game itself makes you a world-class pussy or worrisome old fart of the first order.
|1 day 11 hours ago||Nice video||
What helmets are those on the thumbnail? Doesnt look like either ours or their's to me.
Or is that the point - those are the helmets of the new world that's coming?
Sucks to be old - things like this are so confusing.
|2 days 9 hours ago||True||
I may struggle with spelling but I'm great with math so I can see that 7 out of 8 is better than 1 out of 8.
We each have our strengths it seems.
|2 days 10 hours ago||Says the guy||
Whose post got downvoted by both young and old alike.
And for the record it's not fear that motivates the withholding of trash talking until the game is in hand its fucking intellegence. When your record is the following over the past 8 years only idiots would be tub-thumping their chest and telling the world how wonderful they are before the game is even played.
|2 days 10 hours ago||Hmmm....||
What to call my thread? Let's check the board and see if there's any good ideas there (looks down 9 threads)
Well I see somebody has a thread titled "Mitch McGary waived by Thunder" I think I'll use that one. Cant quite figure out what that other one is about though........

Donovan McNabb says hello.
Wow......nice comment duplicate by me.
