The part about birthdays is great! I've never cared about them myself, but my girl thinks they're a huge deal. Makes everyone feel special, because she thinks they are. So cool. Just another reason why everyone loves her!
We visited NYC for the first time last month. What a great time. I'm generally a fan of cities, and it didn't disappoint. Chinatown was probably our favorite place, we had incredible food, and the people were amazing. Super fun place to people watch. Although I feel like the locals don't watch anyone at all, just us tourists lol

2. Concert. Music brings out the true person I believe. Passion, emotions, whatever it is, you can see that by watching people at concerts. One of my favorite pastimes.

the Cincy game last week. He offered to take a picture with my 9 year old daughter (who was wearing the #1 jersey). He couldn't have been more nice. I'm sure it gets a little old with everyone wanting to meet him, especially in the tailgating lot outside of a M game, but he was super accommodating. My daughter watched 2004 MSU game highlights half the way home.
I bought the 3-burner Broil King at Lowe's last spring and it's great. I actually like it better than my old Weber. The burners have 2 rows of flames which makes for great heat distribution. There are really no hot or cold spots. It cost around $400 I think. It's great.
It's just one of those circumstances where I don't want to say, "Hey man, I know you really wanted to come to Michigan, and you can't now, but you're welcome for the offer!" It comes off kind of wrong to me, even though I believe your thought is correct.
guessing it's significantly inflated. Treetops is a nice place though. They used to do the Par 3 Shootout there, broadcast on ESPN. Phil Mickelson, Lee Trevino, Arnold Palmer, Fred Couples were some of the usual participants. It was a pretty big deal to the local economy, and raised a ton of money for charity.
miles from Treetops and know several people who work there, including the executive chef of their restaurant. They have been sold out every weekend this winter. They don't seem to think this had any real effect one way or the other on their business. They feel that declaring bankruptcy (which they did in the fall) might have had an effect, but that hasn't seemed to be the case either.
