|1 week 2 days ago||I would guess||
that our ranking with High Times is very....err.....High.
|1 week 2 days ago||Keep in mind||
that USNWR uses many factors for their rankings. Academics is only a small portion of the ranking. Quality of life, tuition cost, setting and many other factors are included.
Higher Times is a more reputable ranking in terms of pure acedemics. Compare that to High Times ranking which I would think we rank very high as well but I have not data to support this.
|1 week 4 days ago||What are you||
talking about? Mary Sue retired in June. We have a change.
|1 week 5 days ago||Lets do this||
|2 weeks 10 hours ago||34-27||
Us. Funchess and Greene combine for 200 yards.
|2 weeks 4 days ago||I have an ATT and Sprint||
phone. ATT was lightning fast. I could not believe it. I was able to read the live blog in real time. No question an upgrade.
Sprint had no service. I thought Sprint and Verison used the same technology and equipment. I was in row 14.
So I guess I will use my ATT phone and take an external power source moving forward.
|3 weeks 6 days ago||Dude.. You aint right||
I laughed out loud at this one. Good catch.
|4 weeks 22 hours ago||Well you||
make a good point here with the younger players. I suppose that Hoke may be thinking of playing the younger players against Appy St. This sounds reasonable to me.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||So a reverse||
psychology type thing? I might be inclined to buy this. Only show base packages that everyone has anyway. Nuss is not new to college football. Everyone knows his style and scheme.
I just wonder if the risks (injury, OL embarrasment, tipping your hand) are worth any potential reward.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||I read that too||
but I dont buy it. There is too much risk and not enough up side in my opinion.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||WATCH IT!!!||
I posted the air fare from Detroit to Oklahoma City after the first game win at Florida State last year in the Supers. When the wheels came off, I had MGo Protesters picking my house.
|4 weeks 1 day ago||I never want||
to take ANYTHING for granted, but the Big Ten schedule is fairly easy next year. This year we had too many "brain farts" where one simple error cost us the game. We should have had 4 or 5 more wins than we actually had.
Coach will work on these with the younger players and this will get fixed. The key is going to be how much the defense will improve. Pitching and hitting will not be a problem.
Like I always say, "Sometimes even the better team loses". This is why we actually play the game. This drives coaches crazy. When your team gets beat by a superior team, and your team played well, then all the coach can do is work harder. However, when the defense makes errors, batters look at 3rd strikes, or pitchers walk too many batters; a loss is more difficult to take. Overall next year will be better than this year.
BRING ON FALL BALL!!!!!!!!!!!
|4 weeks 1 day ago||Better yet||
why have the scrimmage open? Did Hoke think the OL was\is better than the performance? Does Hoke know the OL is bad and wants to put undue pressure on them?
Or is this an attempt to calm down the natives for the otherwise, lack of respect to the most loyal fans?
Overall I just do not see the logic for an open scrimmage this close to the start of the season.
Or should I also give up the liquid lunches?
|4 weeks 2 days ago||I had||
to laugh out loud at this. I remember when Gore said he "invented" the internet. The worst part is people actually believed him, now that is scary.
Thanks for the chuckle.

not worth reading on any given Tuesday, let alone anything about M.

that is all. No more to see here.
|7 weeks 7 hours ago||Ditto for me||
never have, never will. Although I have been high twice in my life. Once was a few years ago at Pine Knob at a Kid Rock concert. There was a blue haze everywhere and it smelled like skunk. I should have worn a gas mask but that would have impeeded my dranking ability.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||Maybe, but||
one needs to look at the criteria. Money used educational quality, affordability and alumni earnings. Maybe Yale took a hit because of affordability? tuition is $182K for Yale vs $82K for BYU when both schools have $50K for salary after 5 years. BYU is a better bang for the buck.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||I agree with this assessment.||
I am a White Collar Automotive Engineer. The reputation of Michigan is very high. Many HR Managers have a very high opinion of Michigan even though many of these HR Managers did not attend Michigan.
One HR Manager told me that all he needed to see was a Degree from Michigan and that person was hired regardless of position. I know of several Michigan grads with non related (History, Art) degrees working in the technical side of the Automotive Industry.
He avoided MSU and EMU grads like the plague. He had a postive opinion of CMU, Ferris, NMU and Lake State. I am not sure his rationale was reasonable though.
|7 weeks 3 days ago||The Times Higher||
ranking (not to be confused with High Times) is heavily focused on acedemics. I think it is a better measure of how well the school educates its students and how that education is perceived world wise. I wonder what ranking High Times would give us?
The USN&WR's rankings are a joke because they factor in such things as quality of life, access to public transportation, the number of pizza places within walking distance, intermural sports etc. Now these things are all important but the #1 reason to go to school is to get educated. Partying should be #21 on the list of priorities (IMO).
This is the first time I looked at Money's rankings. It seems reasonable to me but East Coast schools will be heavily favored. I will have to spend a little more time on this list.

Dr. Susan Murphy's statistic class(es). Luck is another word for randomness.
|9 weeks 3 days ago||Hi MGO||
I live in Port Huron and I have done this trip a few times as a passenger, never as a Captain. EZ Bud is correct. It is all basedon the weather. Bad weather = unhappy Momma.
The Customs and Immigration issue is quite simple. If you are going to be registered at Canada immigration and the vessel departs from Sarnia, you can traverse the waterway without any issues. Techically you will NOT leave Canada as the waterway is dual owned.
The issue becomes when you step on land in the US. If you have a mechanical or medical issue you MUST call US Coast Guard Station and identify a problem. They will give you direction but your Captain should know this. You never want to stop at Sans Souci Bar on Harsen's Island or Gars in Marine City for a few. Has it been done before without any issues? Sure. Have I stopped in Canada for 1 or 10 without declaring???? (5th Amendment protection here).
As long as the vessell meets the regulation for life jackets, navigation lights etc and everyone has passports; you will be golden. Make sure to take your jacket, even in 80 degree heat because she can get cold very quickly.
If you have a few minutes, give me a shout and I will buy you that beer that I owe you. Have fun nonetheless.
|11 weeks 6 days ago||You are right||
about one point. Narduzzi gets more out of 3 star players than most, if not all, DC. Once Narduzzi leaves for a HC position, Danni will take msu back to where they belong.
|11 weeks 6 days ago||Yea but||
you miss the entire DB Game-Day Experience.
All kidding aside, there is nothing better (IMO) than a fall afternoon, throwing the pigskin around on the golf course, with ribs on the smoker and cold beer in the cooler, with family and close friends.
|12 weeks 4 days ago||Great point||
Michigan fans are very loyal. Carr was significantly less than 50% in covering the spread. Vegas adjusts the line based on how people are betting. There were several times where I took the opponent and the points against a rabid Michigan Fan. I still rooted for my team to win, and I made some money along the way...classic win-win.
I would like to see the data for the past 25 years. What percentage of games did we cover (or not cover) the spread? My guess is about 35-40% but that is just a guess. I dont have time to crunch this data. I am working on another data collection project currently.
|13 weeks 6 days ago||This might||
be a slight over-statement.
|14 weeks 1 day ago||Thanks||
for the post. I am ashamed to admit that I did not know about this.
Aidan will be a beast for sure. I bet she bats 4th behind Romo. I cannot wait to see her this fall.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||Ditto for me||
As a history buff, the first 2 episodes were dry. I did some independant research on Woodahl and the clan, which kept my interest. I committed to all 6 episodes.
So far it has been historically accurate save the romance with Anna but it is plausable.
I recommend this to anyone who enjoys history. Simcoe is a little over the top but his portrail may be accurate.
