so bad that I turned into the radio broadcast. It took a few tries to sync the radio to the video due to the TV delay; however once completed, it was very nice.
I had to stop reading the thread to avoid knowing the next play. Overall, a good choice by me.

MGoKid's forecast had the storm staying off shore as well. She was clear not to make any changes to your plans. The B1G could not take the chance because the US models had the storm making landfall. It was the correct decision, remember Katrina?

|1 week 1 day ago||The Euro computer||
is located in England. It is a super computer with high resolution..Think Pentium 8.
The NHC computer is located near Miami, Florida....;think 286
MGoKid has access to the Military Super Computer and her models are closer to the Euro prediciton. So lets hang on tight for another 24 hours before we go all ape-shit.
|1 week 1 day ago||Great scene||
It is WAY to early to start changing plans. Later tonight is when MGoKid says she will have a better beed on this thing.
|1 week 1 day ago||Interesting point||
For my Tribe, it is fall hunting season that brings all the guys together. Many are liberal and many are conservative. Some guys I only see once per year. However, it is deer camp where all the politics are left at the door. We are there for good food, good lies and good friends.
|1 week 1 day ago||Great thread||
Fall is the best time of the year. We head northbound I-75 on the first away weekend, this Saturday will be no exception. We will head to the cabin located in Glennie, Michigan.
I will get up before dawn to hunt either Deer, Ducks or Turkeys. At about 9 or 10, the kids would be stirring. We would grab a full thermos of coffee and head out to the Huron Nation Forest.
There are many hiking trails for every season. When the kids were young, we would have them identify 10 different species of trees from the leaves. We would then head to the Cider Mill for donuts, then off to the bar to watch the game.
If it is a bye week we stay in the woods, cleaning out my hunting blind, looking for deer etc, until the 3:30 slate of games. I made a large, thick crust pizza (from scratch) with 3 meat, 3 cheese. We would then watch football the rest of the day with the family.
On Sunday, we would head out to a different trail. We would be back at the cabin by 1pm. I remember once my daughter asking why Saturday football is so much better than Sunday football. Wifey put on a pot of the Best Chili on the Planet.
We would hang out at the cabin for the next few hours before packing up for the dreaded trip home.
One question for everyone: Why does the trip up north SEEM to be only a few minutes while the trip home takes days?
We started a tradition years ago, the kids would ask the quesiton. "Daddy, why are we going home?" My answer, "So we can go home and hurry up to come back up north." The kids loved this exchange.
We carried this tradition forward every year. This past year it was just my buddy and me, and he said the same thing. It was sad when he died a few months later.
|1 week 1 day ago||I like noon||
games and Yes you took it the way he meant it. So you are NOT out of line. +1 to you, good sir.
|1 week 1 day ago||I just saw this||
a noon kick may not be feasible either due to support staff.
|1 week 1 day ago||Maybe,||
The rain will be the key. The winds should not be a problem.
|1 week 1 day ago||I actually agree||
with this ruling. The full cost of attendence is reasonable. Get the kids a winter jacket, hat and gloves. Pick up their cell phone bill and buy them a pizza on Friday night.
However, if players want to make money playing football, basketball, softball or swimming; then feel free to leave college and become a professional.
It is just that easy for me.
|1 week 1 day ago||Can someone recap for us?||
I had planned on going but I had a meeting that ran late.
Nice website. Although I think we are stronger this year compared to last year. Sara is healthy and Megan is a year older (wiser). Tera will have a better year. The only question is whether Romo can produce like last year. It will be difficult for her to repeat those gawdy numbers.
|1 week 1 day ago||Will do.||
She appreciates all the love from the board. She has a 100% rating over the past 4 years. She said this one is her most difficult prediction to date. She understands tailgating and the impact rain has on the mood. So she wants to make sure the entire MGo Community is prepared. She may jump on here and say hi later on.
|1 week 1 day ago||I dont think we||
did the Tempatation "you suck" chant either. I certainly didnt because my daughter is a SSgt in the USAF and my wife said that would not be "right".
|1 week 1 day ago||Good point||
I wonder if Hackett would charter a flight to leave at 2am to get the guys home?
|1 week 1 day ago||In the weather thread,||
I noted that Saturday night departure flights will be on time. Its the Sunday flights that will be tricky.
A midnight departure will only have rain to deal with. Sunday will bring the heavier stuff with high winds.
|1 week 1 day ago||Agreed.||
DO NOT CANCEL anything as of today. This storm is highly unpredictable. If she stalls, then the Saturday night will still be good but getting out on Sunday will be a trick. If the storm increases speed, then it will be bad for Saturday.
As of now, MGoKid is forecasting rain for Saturday night and getting progressively worse through Tuesday. So if you have a late flight on Saturday, you will get wet at the game but you will still make it.
|1 week 1 day ago||My daughter||
is a SSgt in the USAF. She is a Weather Forecaster and is stationed in Warner Robbins AFB. She has responsibility for the entire East Coast for all Military Flights.
One of her primary responsibilities is Hurricanes on the East Coast, among other things. High Winds and F-22s do not mix very well. So she has to issue warnings a few days in advance so they can get pilots to get the birds out of harms way.
Obviously growing up in SE Michigan, she has attended many games with Pops growing up. She even had aspirations of playing in the MMB. Her favorite memory is watching her first "Cake" formation at the Iowa Game in 1997.
Her Commander is a huge Georgia BullDog fan and Alum so they go back and forth. He does not care if she calls me while she is on duty if there is anything special, especially if its gameday.
She was on duty during the Western game a few years ago and told us to vacate the Big House, which we did. We were on I-94 when all hell broke loose. She is my savior for all things weather.
|1 week 1 day ago||I certainly will.||
She was asking about you guys and wondering if you are going to the bowl game this year should we make it. We are planning on going. She would like to meet up with you guys again to have another beer.
|1 week 1 day ago||@switch26||
MGoKid says the rain will start Saturday. Because Saturday is so far away, the speed of the storm could change. She looked at the models at lunch when she made her first forecast so the storm track is not likely to change but the speed could change.
She is saying a noon kick should be fine but the late kick is too risky. (Full Disclosure: she loves noon kicks anyway).
Sunday and Monday will be the worst days for sure.
|1 week 1 day ago||@MGrowOld||
MGoKid is suggesting you drive and not chance it with a flight. She says that if the current track hold, she will issue a "No Fly Zone" for Military Aircraft in the next 24 hours.
The Military is a little more cautious because they can move aircraft a little more easily. The FAA always waits to the last minute due to the large volume of flights in and out of DC.
Her advice: Drive.
|1 week 1 day ago||Yes on both accounts||
MGoKids forecast says the lightening will stay off shore. The feeder bands will bring the rain. Since this is only a Cat 1, there will be limited action. However the rain will be 6"+ for DC.
Since MD has artificial turf, the rain should not affect the field much. The Game-Day experience will be aweful.

I expected when I read the title. I thought this was another fundraiser for Mott. I was going to participate.
