the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

Big funny |
| 1 day 9 hours ago | I feel you. |
The dude is terrible. Even Section 1 could do better. |
| 1 day 9 hours ago | What ever happened |
to the unwritten rule that announcers do NOT talk about no-hitters? WTF??? |
| 1 day 9 hours ago | Like Romero? |
She is the type of player that comes along once every 5 or so years. We do have some blue chips in the wings that will contribute. |
| 5 days 14 hours ago | In this funny game of softball |
anything can happen: a bad call, a lucky bounce, a wild pitch or a rain delay. Thankfully it is a double elimination bracket which should even out any lucky team. The chance of a team coming out of the losers bracket to win it is about 15% overall. |
| 6 days 6 hours ago | Absolutely Agree! |
We cannot worry about other teams. If we play solid defense, get those timely hits and Sara/Haylie keeps us in the game, we are off to Oklahoma City. |
| 6 days 6 hours ago | Good Luck to him. |
Hopefully he lands on his feet somewhere. |
| 6 days 7 hours ago | No. |
There are 2 brackets of 4 teams playing double elimination. Each bracket has a winner then the winners play the best 2 of 3. |
| 6 days 7 hours ago | That was |
some crazy softball last year. Dont count out Hofstra this year either. They are really good. |
| 6 days 7 hours ago | Yes. |
best 2 of 3 for the winners of the 16 Regionals. This will eliminate 8 teams with 8 teams remaining for the WS. |
| 6 days 7 hours ago | I still hold |
to my prediction of Michigan and Oklahoma in the finals this year. |
| 6 days 7 hours ago | Too bad |
that IPFW has to go to Louisville. AA would have been better travel-wise anyway. |
| 6 days 8 hours ago | This is a GREAT |
bracket for us. Cal is going to be tough but we can beat LSU if we get there. |
| 6 days 8 hours ago | ESPNU |

the NCAA ALLEDGED Webber took money. This was NEVER proven. Webber admitted he took money AFTER he declared for the NBA. So we/Webber/UM was penalized because Chris did not go to the Registrar's Office and officially withdrawl from classes before he took the money? If Chris withdrew and then gave an announcement from the Registrar's Office: "Hey everybody, I just withdrew from UM and I am heading over to Bill Martins Crib to collect me a stack full of 50's so I can go to 8-Mile and get me some Hoes" This would NOT be a violation. I get so angry when everyone (including people on this board) assume Chris took $280,000. This is bullshit. This was just a charge laid by a ND Grad. Are you kidding me? |
| 1 week 3 days ago | If we win |
the Big Ten Tourney, we will probably get the Super Regional at home. It will most likely be the Kentucky or Tennessee Regional winner. |
| 1 week 3 days ago | Exactly, |
this will not stand up to Judicial Review. OP: Please edit your post, Webber admitted to taking about $30,000 AFTER he announced for the NBA. The NCAA alledged he took $280,000 but it was never proved. |

Yes it was me that made that bold prediction. We have Haylie and Sara plus Romo, Lauren and Lyndsay/Colie. My original prediction was NC in 4 years. |
| 1 week 3 days ago | The money |
is certainly not in playing, it is in endorsements and camps. |

the police siren goes off and his eyes light up. I thought for a second that he was going to take off running, "Aint nobody got time fer dat" |
| 1 week 6 days ago | I have written |
about this on numerous occasions. It is a softball "thing". The fans sit much closer to the field in SB. It is a more intimate setting. We yell out "Get a hit Amy" or "Come on Sara, throw a strike by her". This can be heard through out any softball stadium or sandlot field. So my style is geared more towards the players and SB fans. I know the players dont mind when I write about them using first names. I know it is irritating to some casual members of this board and I appologize but I write to honor the players, parents and hard core fans. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | A couple of things to note: |
Tailgating in the Gray Lot is a lot of fun. I dont understand why Brandon schedules baseball and softball on the same day. Thankfully we arrived early and was set up before the mad dash. I took my ball team down and we were in SEC 8; directly behind the NWU football players. They were loud but respectful. They even started their version of GO......BLUE from section to section. Some of our fans were angry but it was all in good fun. The only time I took offense was everytime Romo was up, they sang OVERRATED clap, clap, clap-clap, clap. I leaned forward and told one of the players, "your entire football team has been over-rated for years. Wait until this fall when we overtake Ryan Field again and we sign The Victors." He looked at me and said "Yea, I know" One of the older adults (position coach maybe) was there and told me that NWU started the "Bump, bump bump-bump bump: Lets Go Cats song. I laughed and told him that it is Copyrighted by the University of Michigan and was written by former UM students in the 1970s. He said "Really?, I thought we were the first" The NWU pitcher was cracking a smile when she hit Romo both times. The Pitcher thought she was being cute. I caught it on film. I thought Hutch was going to chock the Umpire. Caitlyn and Ashley made her pay because they hit dingers after both of Romo's HBP. Sara did a good, not great job today. Typically Sara has a bad first inning but today she struggled in the 2nd too. Wolverines Trooper was at the game as well. He was a big hit. He even caught the NWU home run out in RF but dropped it for the error. I did not see but did he get a shout out from the TV Crew? Emily Update: Emily is home now. She has been in the Mayo Clinic since April 2nd. Read her updates here www.mlesupportteam.com/store/

| 2 weeks 8 hours ago | My guess is no. |
Only because physics (and statistics) are against her. We play in too many cold weather games. If she played in the SEC or Pac10, then maybe. The warm weather helps and by a bunch too. |
| 2 weeks 12 hours ago | Good catch |
I did not mention this. Romo has more single season homers than Dorian Shaw and Samantha Finley and she is only a Freshman. I will put money that we will have a NC within 3 years. This year we will lose some very good seniors in Amy, Jacklyn, Ashley and Spidey. But our core is still very young. |
| 2 weeks 12 hours ago | Well you |
have to remember that Jinny was the color analyst. She does a very good job of being neutral but she is still a Michigan WoMan. There was nothing but love for Haylie today. |
| 2 weeks 21 hours ago | SBW, |
I could not have said it better. Hutch is loved by her girls, past and present. She is also well respected by the other coaches as well. It is remarkable that she has been so successful. Hutch was the first to win the NC east of the Mississippi (Alabama was 2nd last year). That is just crazy. Think of all the great teams in Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Tennessee over the past 20 years. None of them won a NC. Then throw in that we are a northern, cold-weather team. It is a-maizing that any warm weather player would ever want to come to AA, but they do because of Hutch.

it rotates now. |
| 2 weeks 3 days ago | Agree 100% |
I get calls about twice per week from LinkedIn. I turned my profile off because I was getting hit up so much. However, it is an excellent method to network. |
