Best of luck.  UM is a fantastic hospital...they saved my life after a motorcycle accident in the fall.  I have nothing but good things to say about everyone in that hospital, from the doctors down to every nurse I had.  If its possible, they will do it.

Good luck to you Eric, after spending 6 weeks at the hospital this fall I know how important any piece of good news is.  I wish him the best, this is the greatest challenge anyone  can face, all that you can do is push to get better and stay positive, the rest is up to God.

Your in my prayers.

I work in emissions, and

I work in emissions, and actually, new diesel engines on many cars (not big truck diesels) run cleaner than the comparable gas engine.  This is mainly due to much stricter emissions regs for diesels and Urea systems to clean the exhaust, but the particulate emissions on diesel vehicles are almost nonexistant.

I met him on the field before I met him on the field before the 05 OSU game...He is a really cool guy. Didn't get an autograph or anything, but it is something I will remember forever

the fieldturf is actually the fieldturf is actually pretty nice, I've been on it at Michigan Stadium and played 4 years of lacrosse and football on it in high school, I always preferred it because it had a consistent surface and it seemed like grass fields always had all types of holes and bumps that twisted ankles all the time. Worst part about fieldturf is the little "grass" pieces and rubber "dirt" type pieces that would get in your shoes and stick to everything...they were a real pain. But I always thought it was pretty much a perfectly flat, consistent grass surface more than anything else.
haha...but I also remember haha...but I also remember all those hours when I thought I could be happy with a garage full of my dream cars and no girl...sadly I seem to have grown out of this phase and I don't think I can afford any of the cars with the price of the girls...
true, but that's because they true, but that's because they are now a part of the "everybody"...
YES. its ridiculous, all the YES. its ridiculous, all the girls like couldn't get enough of them. but it is true, most of them DID eventually end up like guys, even though its only been a couple years
I'm headin to Alberta to do I'm headin to Alberta to do some snowboarding with my Dad...hopefully hit up some bars every night too.
Hey, it was mine first... Hey, it was mine first...damn sailors
At least they wouldn't have At least they wouldn't have to worry about the upper wind limit...although the minimum may be tough to meet. Baseline...
Its a deed of gift race...BMW Its a deed of gift race...BMW Oracle challenged Alingi directly because they felt Alingi wasn't fulfilling their duty as defender, and the courts agree. Its a really long explanation, if you want to understand it better U recommend wikipedia
The sailing instructions put The sailing instructions put an upper limit of 15 knots on the race. Neither of these boats would survive much above this, they are purebred buoy racing boats, not offshore racers. Both would lose their rigs real quick...and a few million dollars in damage.
Okay so first, shouldn't you Okay so first, shouldn't you be studying? And shouldn't I be studying? But anyway both these boats are ridiculously cool and should be super exciting to watch. Even if its at like 6 in the morning...damn exam. Also Bertarelli is an ass.
Alexander Ganago...I have Alexander Ganago...I have hime for EECS 314. His lectures mostly consist of irrelevent electronic theory and examples that don't help with the hw, and is basically impossible to stay awake in. Then there is about 6 hours of hw a week that he feels is easy, plus a lab that has very little relation to the course material. However, his accent is pretty funny and when he gets excited he sounds like Borat, so there's that I guess.
I can only hope...most of the I can only hope...most of the guys I know who graduated last year came back for Grad school, no one could get a job. Hopefully its better in a year or two.
yeah I had him for 100...he yeah I had him for 100...he was a great prof, knew everyones name, and made me kinda understand computers...which is a tough job, there is definitely a reason why I'm in ME.
My two or three easiest so My two or three easiest so far are Philosopy 202, Econ 101 and General chemistry...wow I don't really like being an engineer. Econ 370 is also pretty easy
Okay, for those of us that Okay, for those of us that are engineers, the most entertaining professor I have had yet is Richard Scott. THe man is hilarious. useless as a teacher but hilarious. Only lecture I was excited to attend every day. And his exams are easy.
I really think that it comes I really think that it comes down to who you would want leading your team. There is no question I would prefer Brady everytime. He wins the big games when it really matters, and makes everyone around himself better. Peyton makes his receivers better, but Brady makes his entire team better, and has a much better leadership ability. And a hot wife.
Dude...its so cool. Watched Dude...its so cool. Watched it like 5 times already.
Yeah me too...she is on it Yeah me too...she is on it like all the time. More than I am on NCAA. Still prolly gonna show her this tho...
you know guys, I've been you know guys, I've been thinkin and I really believe that if our defense could just stop giving up points, we would be much more successful. That and running a direct snap triple counter zone read option quick split post hail mary statue of liberty. I really think that play would confuse the opposing defense and should lead to automatic space points handed down by Zoltan.
I had the exact same injury. I had the exact same injury. Initially diagnosed as a AC separation, then maybe 6 months later, after it didn't heal right and the pain continued, I got an MRI and they found a tear in my rotator cuff (labrum). AC separations can be diagnosed with an x-ray, but the tear, especially if it is small, requires an MRI. I avoided surgery and just rehabbed my shoulder, but it is very painful to use your arm and has a constant ache all day, every day. Twisting it just a little wrong can shoot pain all through your shoulder. I am very impressed with Tate, and I know what it feels like to play through that injury because mine happened just before lacrosse season. I had about 6 weeks to heal first though. He played through some serious pain and I couldn't be more impressed with him.
true. I am also one of them, true. I am also one of them, but the hope we somehow dredge up every season is pretty sad. The lions haven't won a championship since before my dad was born... But I agree that they need a lot of talent. I would rather have 2-3 1st round picks than 1 top 5 pick, and hopefully help on both the O-line and D-line and give us a foundation to build on. We will probably take a WR tho...
I agree with your reasons, I agree with your reasons, just wanted to bring up the fact that the same statement can and has been made about RR. And i think that ND can attract some better DCs than Cincy can... I agree that BK may not bring ND back, but I think that he is very similar to RR in many ways and that many of our dreams about what RR can bring to Michigan Kelly could bring to ND. DOn't misunderstand me, I prefer RR to BK for sure and I am definitely a RR supporter, but BK certainly seems to have some promise to bring ND back to national relevance. This would actually benefit us and our schedule strength, especially because I believe that RR has the more explosive offense and if GERG stays around I think we can develop a great defense...and still beat ND every year.
ummm...isn't that what people ummm...isn't that what people said about RichRod? Don't get me wrong I like RR and I think he will build a great program here, but he is an offensive coach who's teams don't play defense (see this season). I think that you can't just make broad generalizations that b/c a head coach leans one way or the other they can't be succesful in all facets of the game. If Brian Kelley goes to ND and hires a good defensive coordinator, I think it would be a very scary prospect.
No, because Pat White was No, because Pat White was drafted purely for the wildcat. He was not intended as a QB, and if the Dolphins weren't so committed to the wildcat he would of been a WR. I think that some of our QBs will have a chance to try and make it in the NFL, but only if they have the accuracy and arm strength required to be an NFL QB along with their legs. Tate and DG both have that opportunity, but both must develop. Also, I think we will see some of our faster, more Athlete-type QBs such as D-Rob drafted as slot receivers or other positions.
This is very interesting, and This is very interesting, and it will be interesting to see what happens as the we get closer to draft day. I think that, after what has happened with the NHL we will see a new contract before March, and hopefully that will bring DW back as well. I also believe that a rookie salary cap won't have as large of an effect as a change from a 3rd to 1st round pick will, so it may all come down to if DW thinks he will go in the first round or not. Obviously, I pray that he comes back. If our defense can get our offense on the field I think Tate and D Rob can get it done.
I would say at least 4 years, I would say at least 4 years, and if there is still well below average performance, then done. If year four is 7-5 or better, and the team looks competitive(at an elite program) then at least 5. At 6-6 I would say that it would be up to the AD, and whether he thinks that the coach has recruited good talent, and that success is just around the corner. However, without any improvement over the first 3 years, with high levels of questionable recruits or poor character judgement(i.e. Winston) or serious violations then I think the coach should be done at that point.
no. no.
3 returns in the half 3 returns in the half now...thats crazy
yup. My method, this time yup. My method, this time around, was write like 75%, beat sparty on ncaa at 2, finish something by 5, wake up at 830 and hopefully make it comprehensible by class
