The punk coverage just makes me sad. When presented with facts, why can't the coaches see one formation is vastly superior to the other? Are they presented with these facts? Do they even care? Mind blowingly sad.
At least on the receiving end we have two players that I'm been sorely missing since Breaston-a-plooza.
edit: looks like creelymonk10 beat me to it. Took too long to type.

Why should the school blame themselves? Clearly the only person to blame is the one who made up the story. You certainly don't expect to be blatantly lied to. Let alone with a whopper of a hero story that is "backed" by his family members.

You know, if you don't like it, you don't have to read it. They're not putting a gun to your head. Just the same as you don't read every article in a newspaper. Pick the one's you're interested in and read those.

Seth, I will say I hate "fantasy football", but I actually do enjoy the site's draftgeddon. As you mentioned, it's more of a top 100 type thing and I do believe your combined work helps me understand our opponents better. So thank you. Before each game I actually recognize the names now and know who to fear or cackle with glee as we make said player look silly.

Not a fan of any color turf. It's just too fake and distracting. Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I'd much prefer having a real grass field. And if for reasons that can't be (poor drainage, muddy, etc.), then I'll accept turf but keep it green.
Now kids, get off my *real grass* lawn! /steps off porch.

Despite the lack of "push" to be a leader in previous years (aka keeps to himself; it's not a bad thing), Gardner is practically the only offensive senior. If he doesn't get one, it would be shocking.

|3 weeks 4 days ago||Think Auburn fans. In all||
Think Auburn fans. In all likelihood it's split 50/50 or 60/40, and there's no other team that compares. So maybe 50% of the state of Alabama hates the Tide (think Auburn fans), whereas only 40% hate Auburn and 10% hate Tennessee (think Tide fans). So the Tide wins, "most hated". Makes perfect sense.
edit: beat me to it. I'm a slow typer.
|3 weeks 5 days ago||Help clarify||
I'm not too up to date on what the repurcussions would be. Do any policy changes have to be voted upon by all power conferences? Or can say the SEC decide they want to pay players $10k, wherease the Big12 wants to only pay $3k? This could get tricky with differences in recruiting tactics and I for one would hope that all power conferences would have to play by the same rules.

Anybody else initially mistake this for Jarrod Wilson and think, "AMSHG strikes again!". Basketball is so not on my radar right now.

I agree wholeheartedly. My idea would be a legend jersey patch with the name and/or number on it. Possibly even a sticker for the helmet. But let the player keep his original number. Jordan Kovacs will always be 32 and not 11. And in the future I would have liked 32 to become its own legend patch for gifted walkons

At first I was like "damn, could they have picked a player with more of a gut". Then my next reaction drifted to... "are they laughing? is this a joke? they clearly aren't super hyped". Now I can't tell if I'm being trolled or those really are the new uniforms.

Kind of in line with the above poster. The victim has come forward and said she actually started the fight. I can't tell you if that means she started throwing punches or verbal abuses first. But I think that's part of the reason for reinstatement bc her penalty for the altercation was only a month suspension.

While msu got the sweet end of that deal, it was only temporary. They also got screwed in general like UM by having a schedule of @OSU and @UM in the same year. Their home schedule in odd years will be as bad as our home schedule in even years.

MSU never sent an alert to the students so it wasn't taken that seriously, apparently.
|9 weeks 15 hours ago||On second thought...||
This should be a posbang thread on the sole reason that OSU is now in the same division as us and Sparty! Now our rivals ACTUALLY have to play each other. No Sparty winning the Legends by skipping OSU and Wisconsin in the same year. And also the elimination of "The Game" being meaningless if both Mich and OSU having already won their divisions.
|9 weeks 15 hours ago||I've come to terms with it.||
I've come to terms with it. Hell, I'm going to give about the same 'rats ass' as I do when we play Indiana, Illinois, or Purdue as I will with Maryland and Rutgers. At least there will be some novelty for a few years. Although I will take back Indiana, their up tempo offense is crazy and i at least can get kinda excited to watch those games.

I used to live in a 2bedroom townhouse off of Ann-Arbor Saline Rd and it was a pleasant experience. Quiet enough b/c I wasn't in the student ghetto, which as a post-doc I assume your friend's wife will want to avoid. The problem being it was close to $1200/mo. If they got a 3rd person, it would be reasonable price-wise. But it all depends on the salary of your friend b/c trust me, the $28k they give you as a post-doc at UM doesn't go very far.

Semantics, then, my dear man. He has won a conference championship. In fact several. 1997, '98, '00 at Michigan. Oh what's that you say, but he wasn't head coach? Tough titties. You said he never won a conference title, you never said he had to be head coach.

I'm not sure how the many promos can say this will top the red wedding. I'll admit, I've read all the books, and unless they deviate completely from the books, I just don't see this season finale being "over the top". Prove me wrong HBO. But I'm betting it's all just hype to get more people to watch. However, I will say, it will be "interesting".

Because in real time, he's trying to avoid a shooting foul. Absolutely the last thing he would want at that point so looks like he's playing it "safe". Again, real-time vs slow-mo makes it seem more dramatic.
