I'd argue that Miami did have the momentum already. They got the turnovers. They tied it up. Then they "stopped" our last minute drive by forcing us to punt instead of score. Keeping us off the scoreboard was their victory. Your argument, in my opinion, is invalid. You don't think they went into the locker room pumped?

"In the Miami game, the coaching staff was a little bit embarrassed". Where were the big Hoke balls that allowed him to poop gold from years past? 4th and inches. No timeout with clock running down. 4th and 6, and didn't go for it despite being on the 30-soming yardline. And if I'm not mistaken, he did that twice this game. That's pure Ferentz/Tressel ball. It's an embarrasment that the coaches don't know basic odds of winning a game and going for it in enemy territory. /rant

Eh, my bad for not reading the video title. I thought it was going to be a news piece on JW.

I'll be the first to say that I did indeed click on the video at work without reading the video's title. Dear god I got some stares.

Total yards is stupid for comparison. Some teams have had BYES already (MSU) and if you're up a lot, you're going to run it more. Better to look at YPA.
Now that makes more sense. We are #14! MSU #82, haha.

Umm, Perhaps I'm seeing this incorrectly as the plays aren't in their full length, but Miller at Center consistently dives his head under to look back, then looks up, then immediately snaps it. I see no delay. Isn't this what MSU exploited a few years back in back to back games to jump the snap? Should we be worried?

I tend to agree. JMFR should have a star. How could he not if he was considered the #1 LB for 2014 according to 247sports? Link. I know, I know. He's moved to MLB and has been sub-par at the new position. But the season hasn't even finished, I don't think you can take away his "star" status quite yet.
A little less surprised that Frank Clark didn't get one, but I can understand that logic.

We are the Minnesota gophers of the 70s and 80s. Pray we don't become the gophers of the past two decades. I can't handle that.
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Away games||
Wow 2023 will be a b**** for OSU. They'll have 6 road games. The Big Ten starts a 9-game schedule starting in 2016. In odd years, OSU will play 4 home and 5 away games. Now adding @ND, that's going to be 6(!!!!) road games. They should have @UM, @Indiana, @Rutgers and two from the Big10 West.
edit: you know, now that I think about it, that's not going to be that tough. 6 aways games is going to be the norm. For instance, UM has set itself up to have 6 road games every odd year starting in 2017 Florida(Arlington), 2019 @Arkansas, 2021 @VaTech, 2023 @UCLA, 2025@Oklahoma

Denard single-highhandedly won us many a game. If not for him, I worry what our record would have been during the span of his career. Sure there were some games that got away from him, but you can't expect perfection 100% of the time.

I understand that coaches don't want the opposing team to know who is injured so they can gameplan around it... but seriously... it's annoying.

The punk coverage just makes me sad. When presented with facts, why can't the coaches see one formation is vastly superior to the other? Are they presented with these facts? Do they even care? Mind blowingly sad.
At least on the receiving end we have two players that I'm been sorely missing since Breaston-a-plooza.
edit: looks like creelymonk10 beat me to it. Took too long to type.

Why should the school blame themselves? Clearly the only person to blame is the one who made up the story. You certainly don't expect to be blatantly lied to. Let alone with a whopper of a hero story that is "backed" by his family members.

Seth, I will say I hate "fantasy football", but I actually do enjoy the site's draftgeddon. As you mentioned, it's more of a top 100 type thing and I do believe your combined work helps me understand our opponents better. So thank you. Before each game I actually recognize the names now and know who to fear or cackle with glee as we make said player look silly.

Not a fan of any color turf. It's just too fake and distracting. Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I'd much prefer having a real grass field. And if for reasons that can't be (poor drainage, muddy, etc.), then I'll accept turf but keep it green.
Now kids, get off my *real grass* lawn! /steps off porch.

Despite the lack of "push" to be a leader in previous years (aka keeps to himself; it's not a bad thing), Gardner is practically the only offensive senior. If he doesn't get one, it would be shocking.

|6 weeks 1 day ago||Think Auburn fans. In all||
Think Auburn fans. In all likelihood it's split 50/50 or 60/40, and there's no other team that compares. So maybe 50% of the state of Alabama hates the Tide (think Auburn fans), whereas only 40% hate Auburn and 10% hate Tennessee (think Tide fans). So the Tide wins, "most hated". Makes perfect sense.
edit: beat me to it. I'm a slow typer.
|6 weeks 2 days ago||Help clarify||
I'm not too up to date on what the repurcussions would be. Do any policy changes have to be voted upon by all power conferences? Or can say the SEC decide they want to pay players $10k, wherease the Big12 wants to only pay $3k? This could get tricky with differences in recruiting tactics and I for one would hope that all power conferences would have to play by the same rules.

I agree wholeheartedly. My idea would be a legend jersey patch with the name and/or number on it. Possibly even a sticker for the helmet. But let the player keep his original number. Jordan Kovacs will always be 32 and not 11. And in the future I would have liked 32 to become its own legend patch for gifted walkons
