Bulls in 5

Honestly this is a horrible match up for the the Warriors. Out of all the 90s teams, the Bulls could adjust to small ball and the way the game is played right now. Curry will get his for sure, but that's about the only real threat.

Keep in mind that this is the best defensive team of all time, with the greatest player of all time, with the greatest coach of all time, the highest 3 point shooter % (kerr) of all time. Add in Rodman who made the Hall of Fame just on rebounding and defense. For those of you 23 and younger, you really undersestimate Scottie Pippen. He was a monster on defense, could slash, dribble and pass with the best of them and the 3rd best SF in the history of the game behinde LeBron and Bird.

If the Bulls played small the line up would look like this, and it would be scary good in todays game:

Harper (defense)/ Kerr (shooting, spacing)

Jordan

Pippen

Kukoc

Rodman

With all that said I think this Warriors team will get to 73 wins this season. I think that record means a lot to them.

Plenty of reason

Plenty of valid reasons have already been mentioned, but we also have to look at how close we have finished for very ELITE talent. Talent that had 0 interest in us 6 years ago:

Karl Towns #4 Overall Kentucky- Had early interest in the program

Kam Chatman #23 Overall Michigan- Committed

Keita Bates-Diop- #24 Overall Ohio State- Had high interest in the program

Deven Booker #29 Overall Kentucky- Had High Interest in the program (leading at one point)

Trevon Bluiett #31 Overall Xavier- Had High Interest in the program

James Blackmon #33 Overall Indiana- Had High Interest in the pogram (leading at one point)

Jae-Sean Tate #56 Overal Ohio State- Had High Interest in the porgram

DJ Wilsin #69 Overall Michigan- Committed

These are just players in the top 75 from last years class (according to scout) that visited Michigan and had us in the top 5 at some point. We are losing out to schools like Kentucky and Ohio State who have been to more finals fours over the past 10 years than we have. With a bit more time and success we can turn our very good recruiting classes to excellent ones.

I didn't have a problem

I got 4 tickets for PSU without any problem, granted I am a life member and was able to purchase yesterday.

It's really hard to blame GR3

It's really hard to blame GR3 for feeling some sort of regret. His draft stock slipped, he was promised time at the 3 but played exclusively at the 4. The man had to fight downlow with guys like Randle and Stokes. How much better would he look if he played the 3 in college? How more better would he look if he had a veteran pg that took advantage of this slashing and dunking abilities?

Glen has an NBA skillset. He can run, jump, slash and finish with contact and hit the mid range jumper. Getting drafted in the later rounds and being placed on a team that will utilize those skills and find a niche role for him will be beneficial.

I know a lot of people were hard on Glen and to an extent I can understand it. However, he was never placed in a situation to shine. Our offense is meant for guards to drive and shoot. Glen is more of a slasher and finisher. He was an outstanding teammate that did whatever was asked of him to win games, that can not be denied. I loved having him on our team and best of luck in the NBA>

Ya but

A lot of truth there, but we have also tried getting some higher rated players like Blackmon, Kennard, Booker, etc and we have struck out on a lot of them. So yes, we there is still MORE talented players that our coaches have as their first choice and we aren't landing them. I love our team, but let's not pretend that we can improve our roster on a pure atheltic and size standpoint.

Slingbox

I have a slingbox and it is awesome. The set up VERY easy and you can begin watching within 10 minutes. You simply connect componenet cables from your cable box to the slingbox and do some very basic router configuration. ( i think the slingbox will do it automatically for you)

If you are away from home often, I would recomend it.

26 Class of 09

I'm 26 and graduate May 2009 and I don't put too much stock in winning the tournament. It becomes more important if there is a tie for 1st. However, winning the B1G Regular Season means so much more.

Trey Burke

I would typically agree with you, but I think a player can fall in love with a University. I"m almost postive that Trey Burke would have rather been a Buckeye than a Wolverine when he picked a school. Now he is all Maize and Blue and I and every other Michigan fan is glad that Ohio didn't offer him.

With that said, I think this situation is a State of Michigan problem not a Michigan State problem. I don't care where he ends up. I just care about watching the kids that choose to be Wolverines.

If Nik can

If Nik can play his way onto the 2nd team All American team it would be fantastic. Especially considering the Hype so many players got this year (Smart, Wiggins, Parker, Randle, Gordan, etc). Right now though the award is Doug McDermott's to lose. The guy has been playing lights out and has proven it the last few years. I think he wins the award running away.

WOW

Nik is on fire! His change of pace is insane right now. He is unstoppable right now.

Impressed

This Iowa team is good. It seems like everyone on their team can score and they play 11 guys. If it wasn't for the slopyy start, I wouldn't be surprised if this game is in the 90s.

agreed

where are the non-students?

Very Sloppy game by both teams so far.
