I beg to differ.

We need Ohio State.

And before I get negged, the fates of Michigan and OSU are far too intertwined for one to be pushed off a cliff and the other to not go down too or feel a part of the fall.

Remember, being a part of the Michigan-Ohio State Rivalry is one of our huge selling points in recruiting. Taking away that or minimizing due to the 'Death' of OSU football would would be like taking away the winged helmet or the band ceasing to play the Victors.

Bottom line is, M and OSU are far too interdependent to have one go down and have it good for the other program.

And Michigan-Nebraska being the new rivalry is a laughable statement. There will never be another game like Michigan-Ohio State. Only the Iron Bowl comes close and still pales in comparison to The Game.

Shit has

Shit has officially hit the fan in Columbus.

Tressel was,

Tressel was basically the only thing keeping Buckeye fans' opinion of him to be alright, so with Tressel gone, Buckeye fans will turn on him.

Time to GTFO if I was Terrelle Liar.

DEATH PENALTY!!!!!!!!!!!

Just kidding, but they will get hammered, the question is how close to the death penalty will they get if all the allegations I've heard on the board here are true.

Crumbling

The OSU house of cards is crumbling as we speak.

It'll be interesting to see how their recruiting goes for the rest of the year.

Some Might Say

Some might say that something very strange is going on in Columbus. It may take a couple of months for EVERYTHING to come out. And let me assure you, by EVERYTHING, I mean EVERYTHING, which means the bloody knife at the murderer's home or the stain on Monica Lewinsky's dress. Ohio State is heading north on a White Bronco.

We are seeing the tip of the iceberg.

Cause for concern?

Am I justified in my concern that if we really would take a fifth or as some are saying sixth(!) linebacker, it would hurt us longterm.

They are all being recruited being told by the staff, "You got a shot at early playing time." Five/Six LB's are gonna have a tough time all getting early playing time all at once.

Seems like it could be a set up for failure?

Five?

Would Hoke and Mattison be willing to take a fifth linebacker?

Good to see.

ESPN rated Devin Gardner an 81 and Denard Robinson as well.

And looking back at that class of '09 list. It's painful to see how so many of them are either gone or irrelevant. (Tate, LaLota, Turner, Emilien, Isaiah Bell, QWashington, Stokes) (!)

Am I crazy...

Am I crazy, because I think these uni's are actually sweet. Neg me all you like.

Deadlock

The idea of paying college athletes is hard to call. They are getting a WORLD CLASS education (depending on the school, Michigan, ND, Stanford for example) for FREE.

However, that's not going to pay for their basic essentials with all their time supposedly dedicated to sports or as is the custom in Ohio... selling memorbilia.
