im sure thats part of it

i also think that in 2008 it was our first year running the offense and then in 2009 it was our second year running the offense.

having said that, playing in south florida in november is a  LOT different than playing in the midwest in november, as you mentioned. i think the biggest thing is experience playing in the system

ummm yes we can

and UM doesn't need to play a near perfect game. they just need to not turn the ball over more than twice. (although i guess that IS near perfect isn't it? :p)

id really love to know

who it is that put out this idea that tate had shoulder surgery in the off-season. no he didn't.

yea

you'd probably have said the same thing of cincinatti coming into this season

lol

i think that list looks accurate just the way it is

and he promptly

had a serious knee injury. (mississippi curse)

you know

he could've gotten hurt during practice. they wear pads during those too

hmmm

i'm failing to see the problem here.

you've seen how many freshman/walk-ons

first year starters, etc. we've played this year on that side of the ball right? dave brandon sees that stuff too. no one will make RR do anything coaching wise, any move that RR makes will be on his own accord

he'll get another year

without having to fire anybody on that side of the ball by simply winning next weekend against purdue.

point taken but,

when, exactly, was antonio bass ever a QB for michigan?

yea

magnus also said, emphatically, that carvin johnson wasn't all that good and was definitely going to redshirt.

he may preach strong defense

but he hasn't actually had one since he's been at stanford

well duh

even i know everyone steals and kills. i mean, who do you know that doesn't do those things?

thats interesting

because i didn't know that. why didn't anyone tell me that ohio st would beat wisconsin 9 out of 10 times? i hate being out of the loop...

lol

he had 86 passing yards today.

dee hart

is more than fast enough, don't worry about his speed

so...

it wasn't cold and rainy against ND huh?

jesus brian

that is NOT why demens wasn't playing and boubacar was the one that didn't pay his half of the rent. that suit was filed over the summer but "for some reason" is just now being put out by the media.

it's not about them getting in

it's about them having enough credits when they get to michigan to graduate on time. fact is, almost none of them do so it's not worth the effort of recruiting a JUCO player unless they're at the junior college for reasons outside of academic eligibility (see byron moore)

he would if he could

but in almost all cases the credits from JUCOs don't all transfer, so if a JUCO player got to michigan he wouldn't be able to graduate in time. that's why they don't do it

not true on troy

he never used his redshirt year so he's simply redshirting this year

TOP

is really irrelevant if we're not turning over the ball.

well you know

tate is actually third behind denard and DG

well

considering he's passed for less than 50% lifetime against michigan (14/30) i'd say michigan fans are one of the few fanbases that can talk about TP being an inaccurate passer.

come on man

a little heavy on the hyperbole. miami lost to the cold as much as it lost to wisconsin and oregon wasn't "powerful" by any means. how many pts did they give up the last 3 games of last season?

having said all that, miami's not beating ohio st by 38 pts.

both deesmond

and denard are faster than pat white. what made pat white so great was his decision making. when you play fast you look fast. if denard can ever make decisions as fast as pat white could, he'll win the heisman

no it was a player

and if you notice in the clip below an OSU player started all the talking. should we have expected shaw not to say anything back?

yea

and?

on top of everything already said

outside receiver is his natural position. he had to learn the slot receiver position when he got to michigan. he's really just going back to what he's used to

interesting

because DG is with the third team and it's doubtful he'll get meaningful playing time this year, never mind starting

dude

they're going against the scout team, aka players pretending to be uconn

that guy is right

he hasn't finished his clearinghouse stuff to be able to take official visits yet

hmmm

that would explain all the dancing he does before running upfield...

installion

refers to putting in the gameplan

you should watch that again

because, to me, he most certainly was in position to pick it off and you could see his frustration in not picking it off

if he had done

literally anything else on that play we probably win that game. he could've passed it to stonum, minor, or, the hand-wavingly wide open tay odoms. he also could've done what he had always done, run. any of those things, especially the pass to odoms,  gets us well within FG range. but oh well, lesson learned for him.

well

they're more reliable than rivals

hmmm

rivals said that? that makes me believe it less. we'll see though

well for one thing

that "number 1 QB in the nation" was pulled for a freshman QB last season and isn't even on the team yet to boot. can you name any of TP's backups? meanwhile we have tate, denard, and DG. it's not that we NEED all three of them, it's that we have options. OSU does not as any buckeye fan would tell you. if TP goes down they'll look like we did in '08 offensively

denard

tate AND devin. you wouldn't take that trade?

in droves?

they're not happening anymore than at any other college.

defense

not even in jest. QB's? you most certainly would trade yours for ours

alabama is back

although i doubt they'll be title contenders this season. they lose 10 starters from last year's defense. i'd be shocked to see them in the SEC title game this year

i love that

mgoblog followers broke this story

i'd bet on UM

for that game, and if the over/under on the season win total is 7 i'd the over on that as well

LMAO

comedy

considering how much

the forciers love michigan and RR, yes i would be surprised. not to mention tate's had his best week of practice this week. btw if he hasn't done it here yet, TomVH talked to tate's dad and mr. forcier says it's not true.

no way

i SERIOUSLY doubt the validity of this.

thats the opposite

of what i've read. that being said, it's very unlikely talbott starts this year. or any year...
