That's an interesting point Groot, but i think we went that route before and most would agree that a spread or west coast offense is the best scheme for putting points up on the board.
Thank you for this. Unfortunately I missed the survey but I would love to know whether alumni, donors, or fans were included as tertiary options in the blame. Definitely not as much as Hoke or Brandon, but blame is almost never a singular item. In my opinion all parties involved share a part of the blame for where the program is at right now, including fans and wealthy donors.
There is absolutely no reason to pay that amount to CIL or scribbler for a live chat. For that amount of money you could pay a programmer to integrate a live chat framework into your site. That is what I would would be looking at. I am sure there are Jquery / ajax libraries out there that give you decent head start in getting this going. It's not that difficult.
How about we all calm down a bit. As fans there is not a whole lot we can do at this point but support the team. Let's not digress in "Notre Dame fan mode," where you consistently nitpick your coach and current players, and exhibit an all around douchebaggery that is despicable.
Time to realign expectations. Any game we win will be due to scoring more points in the shootout. Good teams will move the ball at will against our defense.
Easiest way might be to put mgoblog into your google reader. Put it in a folder that sounds work related, such as "engineering". Then when you are reading it, the url looks like "google.com/reader/view/stream/label engineering"
Here is a version hastily redone version with a black bg (better battery life for amoled screens) and 1160 x 960 dimensions (good for Samsung Galaxy S and other large screen Android phones)
I thought we were going to be good in the second half due to the extra conditioning from Barwis. Is it all hype? Are Michigan players actually in worse shape than their opponents, or could the second half meltdowns be due to other factors?
Everyone here has missed the point. The real humor in it was that the "great Notre Dame's leader," the figurehead of their sports program, was a morbidly obese man. This matters. Athleticism, being in shape, does matter in sports, even for the coaches. Do you think it motivates young college players more to answer to a coach who rides around practice in a little cart because it's hard to walk, or to a coach who runs around with vigor and enthusiasm throughout practice??
It was like ND was playing a big practical joke on itself for the past years, and it was funny to those who do not like ND.
That game was a dong punch. The awful defense of this team is a punch. The terrible play calling is a punch. The horrid offensive line is a punch. Michigan still sucks. Get over it.
DUDE, I made the same mistake!! At least I played Edwards... and yes, I am trying to get a team of former UM players, you can actually win the the league with a former UM dream team.
I actually liked the announcing. I also liked the way the BTN broadcasted the game. It was a nice change of pace from the constant commercial breaks I see on ESPN and NBC. There were fewer commercials in this game by far.
I don't have a problem with Valenti. Yes, he is a State homer, and can act like a jerk at times, but generally is entertaining. From the limited time (3 weeks) that I have listened to him, he seems like he tries to be fair.
I will say that there is such a thing as over practicing. I have seen it. You over practice your players during the week and run them down so much that by game day they are only functioning at 80% of the level that they should be at.
The point of this is that MGoBlog has some really serious malware advertising on it's site. No advertising should be able to 'detect' viruses.
Brian, you need to have some standards with your site.
This was said earlier in the comments but it is worth repeating: Brian, get an online backup solution. Your data is too important not too. This is something you can't be cheap with, your data is your livelihood! There are many you can get and they only cost $5.00 / month.
That said, if you are looking for a local solution to external hard drive, then look no further than Syncback. This wonderful little program is free and can run backups on a scheduled basis, and works great! It is also worth buying the $30 version.
Wow that's fast. I could only manage a 10.9 in the 100m in high school, and I went to state losing to Steven Jackson by a hundredth of a second in the 200 meter in that race.
zoom zoom zoom, Denard!!
The fallout from this is crazy. One minute, your a starter on the team, the next, you are gone from the team and the school. I am just saying that this whole thing, including the incident, is crazy to watch as an outsider. Like watching a train wreck.
UCLA is undoubtedly way more beautiful. The school is gorgeous, there is a reason the Rose Bowl is so popular. But when I visited both schools campuses though, I saw more hot girls at USC...
Regarding the headlines of forum posts, they are actually more informative than the blog postings made by Brian. That does not stop the content of his postings from being great though.
1. It bugs the hell out of me that Michigan blogs that have died months, even years ago are still listed in the other Michigan blog section (Autumn Thunder grumble grumble). I am also annoyed that some of the ones that have not been updated in months are not differentiated from the ones that have been. This may be a little hard, but maybe the list could be sorted according the most recently updated blogs, or possibly have a mini rss feed for each blog suckerfish style. In my opinion, it does quality blogs like Michigan Sports Center a disservice when you simply lump them in there next to dead and dieing blogs.

I've never been one to criticize the broadcasters, but I have to agree here that it was cringy.

Ezeh is awful. The fact that the coaches have not recognized this yet and fixed the problem is an indictment on their abilities.
Remember guys: only the NCAA can exploit young, unpaid, athlete labor. It is their party and don't crash it.

Probably.
Agreed. The "you suck" chant is trailer park style. Way to class it up student section. This is something that will not die.

Can you post the original layered image, and I will rework it with the proper dimensions and a black background for ANdroid?
Why black background? Because if the phone has an AMOLED screen, it will save battery life.
Because I asked a question about Google Reader? It is a consideration and not a threat. My argument makes valid points. I just want more efficiency.

Get an Android phone. With the release of the Galaxy S, there is now a high end Android phone available on every network.
