What a competitive player. A lot of ‘nasty’ pitchers are that way - nasty on the mound but nice most everywhere else. I remember coaching a 12U kid that was the nicest teammate. But on game day, he was a different kid that no one could hit. I’m sure it’s always part of their nature. Greg Maddux comes to mind; smiling all the time until it was his turn to pitch. Roger Clemons didn’t strike me as a nice guy on his days off. Pedro Martinez is another SOB on the mound but is enjoyable to listen to on MLB Network.
Doesn’t impress me as the guy that follows the rules. More like bend them before they break. Probably laughed his ass off at the cheeseburger infraction. If he J-walks on Main Street we’ll get penalized.
The Rose Bowl means a lot to Michigan, the winningest program in a college football. And the Rose Bowl, of course, is The Granddaddy of Them All. I proudly were my Rose Bowl champions shirt.
A friend of mine (female) got a DUI and was sent to jail. Pops get the call, let her sit it out, and picked her up the next day. Lesson learned? I never found out.
Sports writers like to dabble or focus on the negative. Sometimes it’s greatly exaggerated. They need clicks. Sadly, these stories become ‘truth’ to those that don’t know the whole story.
PS - big wresting fan here as I wrestled in HS. My oldest son was wrestled varsity when his HS team went to the team State Championship in Georgia. He won a bunch of matches late in the 3rd period due to his endurance. Pinned a kid when they were tied late in the third. Got the take down with 5 seconds to go and then finished him off with the pin.
I logged in when I got to work so I could jump on the Posbang, but as you noticed, I also didn't see one. Hadn't had my coffee yet, so I didn't post. Can someone bang me for enjoying my lazy Friday at work?
Akshully you may have it wrong - the Colorado people want to introduce the wolverines to each other. Kinda like a meet and great so they can hook up and have baby wolverines.

He got blasted in the Rose Bowl. He was holding his ribs in the third quarter. He won’t survive NFL hits, but it may be a two hand touch league soon!

Texas allows “drinking with parents” too. Not sure about Georgia, but I’ve had a beer with my kids at home. Teaching them to drink responsibly.
