But apparently Luther Campbell tweeted that Randy Shannon is going to be the new DC at Texas

Hurricanes' Mascot

In order to help you solve the mystery, the Hurricanes' mascot is Sebastian the ibis.  An ibis is known as the last sign of wildlife prior to a hurricane and the first to reemerge after the storm.  So, it actually makes a lot of sense and is much more clever than the simple caricatures most teams use.

While I agree with most of what you said... I think you need to take Barwis' role into account here. It could be argued that players on the roster having spent several years under his strength and conditioning program may give them more of an advantage over incoming freshman than existed during Llyod's tenure.
Shoes Where did you find this picture?
Just because it's a fact doesn't mean that people care to know it. Maybe you were negged because nobody thought it was funny or relevant to read that you don't know any Florida fans.
For football they may as well... then it can truly be the B10 again.
I had a maize Hart jersey... I wore it every game of the 2006 season, home and away. Then before the OSU game it disappeared. I don't think I need to explain the rest.
This doesn't really explain why the conference started suspending people. The mechanisms have been in place for years to deal with these kind of issues. I don't see the LeGarrette Blount incident as a sufficient reason to drastically alter the conference's role in these situations.
Double moves were his specialty Maybe teams were worried they didn't have Jake Long to give their QB all day while Mario was making CBs fall over with his double moves.
For groups the rooms in Angell/Mason hall always seemed to be good and it was usually easy to get one.
Nobody gladly makes the trip to North Campus.
If only people cared about the college football HOF this would be a great thing. I went to South Bend for the '06 game, and I see no reason to return unless it's to witness us massacre them again.
Actually the best offense is a good defense. Not so sure the reverse holds true.
I couldn't agree more It should be considered a luxury to be able to have DG redshirt next year and spend a couple of years developing. This is a much better situation than throwing another true freshmen in as a starter and hoping for the rare results we've seen from Tate so far.
Tate will have his struggles... in the B10 schedule. Not to mention, he hasn't played a road game yet.
120 is a misrepresentation How many of the 120 actually compete for the top recruits? It's probably closer to 30 teams.
Agreed This has all been brought up before. The most troubling part is that the LBs seem to be athletic, but mentally lost. If this doesn't change, the coach will.
The only way a rematch would ever happen in the MNC... is if the initial game happened early in the year. So no, RR's media savvy wouldn't have made a difference. Voters would only consider a rematch if they felt the loser had improved since the first meeting.
Miami We'll have a much better idea about how good Miami is after the next 2 weeks, especially if Bradford is healthy.
Combination of genetics, coaching, and opportunities.
double post don't know why this keeps happening
Should be higher Chengalis needs to reevaluate the list.
RR could value knowledge of the system and awareness on the field over pure talent. This could lead to walkons playing over recruitings thought to have superior talent.
Voters have different voting philosophies Some of these voters may be giving Michigan a bump is the polls for beating ND, while many schools have been rolling over cup cakes early in the season.
Agreed I found this pretty perplexing as well. Especially, when the AP poll was so different from the Coach's poll. I can't recall a time when the two polls were so off from each other on a number of different teams.
Liveblog curse only applies to basketball. Every football game gets liveblogged recently, so hopefully is only applies to basketball.
Sorry double post
Yes, but I don't think this refutes the poster's idea that Illinois should dominate the recruiting area that he thinks is a hotbed of talent. Also of those school listed either do not come from a big recruiting area or have other schools who dominate the recruiting areas they are located in.
As a dolphins fan... here is the way I see this situation. Henne is the solid #2 QB, but the dolphins are also trying to develop Pat White to contribute to the wildcat. Pat White is more like the #1 wildcat QB than the #2 QB. They find the biggest limitation to the wildcat is Ronnie Brown's inability to make the throws that are sometimes wide open. It is been made public knowledge that the dolphin's front office is high on Henne and he should have a shot at the starting job next season. Also, many think that if the fins struggle he should get playing time this year.
Professor Thom's is a great place to watch a game in NYC (especially for the younger crowd). May not match Duffy's (I've been there too), but it's still packed with Michigan fans on gameday. You would be hard pressed to spot a single person who doesn't have a Michigan t-shirt on.
Yea, but.... the fact that we've dominated them so much over the past decade kind of makes them less of an annoyance in my mind compared to some other teams.
