It'd be amazing if he was on a one year rope but methinks that's not the case. I'd actively root against this team next year for the opportunity of an upgrade ala Hoke in 2014.
Let's see how that turns out at the end of the year. MSU is final four bound and we're struggling to make the tourney. Soft early big ten schedule can be very deceiving
I don't understand why we can't hold him to a higher standard? I mean to recruit this poorly at a place like Michigan is abysmal. The guy has won 4 conference titles in 24 years as a D1 head coach.
You are crazy. Look at MSU's recruiting class...stacked. That's what good programs do. Beilein is a flash in the pan. Great post-sanctions option but nowhere close to elite.
What does our OL board look like for this class and next? It feels extremely thin to me. Given how hard it is to project O-linemen, should we be worried?
F*cking clue how this will turn out. He's been a wet blanket all season re: saying Hoke and Brandon will survive. He can't burn bridges...understandably so.
Tonight speaking to alumni at the Westin Book Cadillac in Detroit. I plan on asking his perspective on the deterioration of the Michigan brand under Brandon's watch.
When: Wednesday, July 24, 5:30pm-8:00pm Where: Jenner & Block, LLP, 353 N. Clark, Chicago, IL

I swear to god if it's another ACL....
I'll eat my hat if we rush for positive yards in this game.
I'd rather watch the Nebraska game on continuous loop for the rest of eternity.
*but Hoke can recruit!
**dies
I'm still drinking my tears from last Saturday. So good.

That PSU loss looms large.
Has anyone looked at the statistical probability of scenario 1 or 2 happening? Man we need to beat MSU soundly.
Don't you think WINNING would be the ultimate key to "long-term success"?
You win more games, you recruit better, you slowly impliment your system...etc etc
Sacrificing wins makes no sense. Pound the rock in spring and fall camp....if you're not going to be successful "revert" back to a different approach.
T_K knew this post would come up, knew that the fan base would waiver, knew that the team would experience growing pains.
Yes.
I think Smith has really started to emerge...with the Green weight issue + booboo, I wouldn't be surprised.
FYI....further details on location, etc.
