ball is only close because the ncaa is retarded in regards to their records. they now count bowl games, but not retroactively.....Barry had 39 tds in his 11 game regular season, and then 5 in the bowl game, so a grand total of 44 in 12 games. Ball has 38 this year, in 13 games.
I'm really excited about the impact both these kids can have. Basketball has had a lot of "grinder" types in the post over the years, like graham brown, or we've had more finesse players, like lavell blanchard. We haven't had a post player since C-Webb that was a combination of the two.....
And Morris - as far as talent, skills, and being a "pro-style QB" reminds me of what Drew Henson was for a year, and what Mallet could have been.
I can't wait to see both these kids suiting up in the maize & blue.

that run & shoot, with Ware/Klingler, 1989/1990, when manny hazard had 142 catches in one year, chuck weatherspoon ran for 9.6 a carry, and they lit up everyone.
I'm sure a decade ago, maybe, but after succeeding at WV and then failing at UM, why would you coach Tulane? its not like RichRod is Gerry Dinardo or anything....
