3 days 16 hours ago	Could just be coincidence,	Could just be coincidence, but Michigan appears to be following the NHL trend of stockpiling tall, athletic goalies. Racine and Nagelvoort are 6'2, while Lavigne is 6'1. Michigan's had some tall goaltenders in the past but I think this is the first time in recent memory that all of the goalies on the roster (in 2014) will be over 6'0.

1 week 4 days ago	That's what I thought too,	That's what I thought too, but it looks like THN is using the April ISS ranknings and those included all skaters. For example, Valeri Nichushkin of the KHL is ranked #2. The THN rankings include all draft-eligible skaters as well.

He's averaging 0.72 points per game, and while this isn't in Compher territory (0.91 points per game) it still seems like a 47 point season should boost his ranking, not cause it to tank. He's having a good World Championship too, so I don't know what the scouts are seeing that they don't like.

5 weeks 1 day ago	I agree, I'll be surprised if	I agree, I'll be surprised if Copp isn't named captain for 2014-15. I looked through the media guide and there wasn't anything about who the youngest captain (or alternate) is, but with Copp being just 18 I'd think it's probably him.

The article seems to do a good job of capturing the mood of the room but doesn't come off as contrived or as if there was a predetermined angle.

8 weeks 2 days ago	The biggest difference I've	The biggest difference I've noticed between earlier in the season and now is the number of mental mistakes. Earlier in the season MIchigan had a bad habit of blowing coverages and committing horrific turnovers and that's turned around as of late. I certainly like Michigan's chances against a Miami team that they split a series with at Yost during the crappy part of the season; y'know, October through three weeks ago.
