I have to say Arsenal isn't being hampered by FFP, but just Arsene's reluctance to spend (or Kroenke's, who knows). But I think FFP will lead to a situation like the old-MLB (before luxury tax). Big teams will be able to spend big money still, however I think it will eliminate teams like Man City who come out of nowhere when a rich owner buys them and throws insane amounts of money at the team. I'm hoping that it will slow down excessive spending and will allow smaller clubs to afford to keep their big players (I know its a pipe dream). Hopefully one day it will change where every good player does not go to Barca, Real, or a big PL club, and actually remains with their smaller club (ex: Bale, Falcao)
Offensive and defensive coordinators both are either in their first or second years with the Badgers. If they can't get Chryst, I think they'll pick up someone that none of us has heard of
I understand where you're coming from, but hypothetically the waiter could be relying on your 15% tip to support his entire family (including his wife)
Just read this, and instead of reading it as offense (uh-fence) I read it as offense (aw-fense). So I have been thinking about how if Denard got caught with weed he'd be out 1 game, but if Bellomy got caught he'd be out the entire year
When debating this, you have to keep in mind the redshirted players backup too. For example, Denard made significant contributions his freshman year, but we will not know how bad burning the redshirt will be until we see how good DG is once Denard is gone. If he steps right in and is a better passer and a overall in the same league as Denard, then burning Denard's redshirt really was not that bad, but if he sucks....then it's a whole different story (same situation when DG leaves, if Morris is as good/better, it won't be a big problem that DG's redshirt was wasted)
Do any of you guys know that if the US wins its group is it a single elimination tournament to determine the winners of the CONCACAF? (like the world cup format, where if the US loses on a fluke game they dont make the WC)
Just a heads up, very few people there speak English (its not like going to a European country). A close friend of mine went to Brazil during the summer and he said his group would have been completely lost without a guide. I'm actually thinking about studying in Germany in June of 2014, though I may have trouble seeing the USA games, I figure it would be worth it to take in the soccer "atmosphere" during the world cup.
I like the idea....at another school (I believe it was Xavier, but I may be wrong) they have this, but they occasionaly take a few (highest points) students with the team to away games (I think it was for Men's Basketball, so it would actually be really cool)
Why doesn't each conference have a "home" stadium within their geographic region? You could have the B1G home site be Indy or Detroit, have SEC's be the Georgia Dome or Superdome, Big 12 play at Jerry World, and Pac-12 play at the Rose Bowl. Yes I know the bowl sites could get screwed but seriously who the hell cares

I feel like it was just yesterday, watching this freshman QB "Denard Robinson" come in against Western Mich. and run for that TD

I know what the procedure is but I think if he is going to get it, or the coaching staff plans on him getting it, they would have told us by now
When I first saw this I thought it was funny, then I saw the guy in the background...hilarious

As said by a friend of mine: "No need to completely remove it, just put it in the library to remind students to keep quiet"

This is what Sam Bradford did

To this day I still have absolutely no idea how Qatar got the bid over the U.S.

Im thinking Holland and Denmark, they're (Denmark) always being overlooked but they are actually #9 in the world
