Just a fluke. May have been one of the first shirts off the press and maybe there was a hiccup in the dryer temp, or just a subpar shirt from the vendor. We dont "increase" the quality of print for the AA shirts, but you are correct that the better the cotton on the shirt, the higher the quality/feel of print.
is on a Gildan 100% 5.4 oz cotton - not as thick as a the Beefy T (thats a ringspun 6.1 oz cotton shirt) but not as soft/fitted as the american apparel. So in the middle of your range. Hope this helps!

We can definitely introduce some non-shirt items as well. any other suggestions/designs you want to see?
And we are sorry we haven''t put more styles in American Apparel. The thing is that the same issue you have with basic t-shirts, others have with American apparel - problems with fit. At UGP, we are extremely pro better fitting shirts, and we are working on pushing more of the MGoBlog line to better fitting shirts in general. If you go to the store you will see some of the most popular styles (the ones that wont ever get phased out of the story in all probability) are available in american apparel. However, we just never know how a shirt is going to sell (even if people like it). Some ideas havent sold more than a couple, and we have to keep that in mind. And since first and foremost the goal of the store is to keep it new and fresh with current styles. It really becomes a balancing act - and we are working on the balance.
If anyone has any specific styles they really want to see "turn American Apparel" - please email us [email protected]. We take these requests seriously and they have helped make the decision several times.

Thank you for pointing that out. That design was submitted by a contract artist, and while the chant is pretty well known, the design was definitely too similar. We don't want to sell shirts that others have, but with all the shirt sites out there its hard to keep tabs.
Bow Down is definitely on the list, keep an eye on the site closer to the state game.
Have been taken down. We hope to have them back up again in the near future, but we have decided that we need to to get explicit permission from Coach Rodriguez and work with him on the proceeds of shirts with his name or likeness on them. Updates to come...
the only time I would say thats not correct is if you find that the Gildan/Hanes M runs a little big on you, then you might want to stick with American Apparel M. Or if you want to show off your guns. But otherwise going a size up in AA should be fine.
