At least we're being realistic about our chances now. I remember hanging on every thread of recruiting news/rumors regarding both Dashawn Hand and Najee Harris. Those two experience are now burned into my memory. I will no long get my hopes up for any recruit until they've signed a LOI.
do you remember how terrible he was this year? I think he would have rounded into form, but he was so bad that okorn was an upgrade. don't think he would start over peters next year, and neither does he.
I'd like to see them try to air it out more if it is okorn. he's not good enough to sustain drives with lots of short completions. at least take deep shots and try to get chunk plays.
I was watching and was happy to see Funchess get in the end zone twice. They showed him after his first score, and he was talking to some staffer and adamantly telling him something about the ball. At the time I thought he was just making it clear that was his TD ball and wanted it after the game. I'm really impressed by his dedication of the TD to a fallen hero. Michigan Man through and through.
I think this years MSU game will go down as one of the most infuriating losses for me. Sure, we've had all sorts of bad beats over the years, but that one was just so ....... F**KING STUPID
Maybe they beat 1 of those two, but I'm too lazy to google. At this point, they have (2) wet fart games to end the year and no motivation to win out since they just got jail-sexed by OSU. I wouldn't be suprised to see them lost one of those. Not that I think it's likely either. I think Lewerke gives them enough to win.
We beat wiscy last year, which I would say is pretty comparable to this year. does that count? osu losing so badly to Iowa removes them from the "really good team" category.
Alabama starting a true freshman qb is in no way comparable to any other school doing that. They have a nfl oline, nfl rb, and nfl defense every season.

He was meant to add depth and competition. He was added in the mad scramble when harbaugh just arrived.

Peters isn't a whiff yet. he's a rs freshman. give the kid some time.
50 - 70 carries for him this year and see some promise. Hopefully he's working hard and will develop into a top back by his RS Soph or Junior year. If not, there's plenty more bullets in the RB chamber.

I feel the same way with the Jim Rome show. I can't figure out what the hell he is talking about and end up changing after 2 minutes.
Dan Patrick show is the only one worthwhile to listen to.
