Anyone have suggestions on a bar to watch the game at in Austin? I'll be there this weekend for a wedding (on Sunday) and would rather not just watch at the hotel.
Yes! I always ALWAYS shotgun a beer right at kickoff. I used to do one for every TD but body bag games are tough plus as I got older and started having kids that isn't sustainable. I do still shotgun one when I think they need a boost of some sort.
Also have a specific hat, shoes and belt that are only gameday attire. I used to have one shirt that was only gameday attire each year but, like another person earlier, they seemed to do worse when I did that so I don't any more. So maybe that's the superstition now.
Speaking of hats, does anyone have an update on the special hat Bakich had before the World Series that he said would be available to those who bought season tickets?

Stafford has been too good for too long to continue playing for that team. They should trade him to a contender for as many picks as they can get (he deserves to play for a winner and his contract will look pretty good after Dak, Mahomes, etc sign theirs), draft Young or some other stud, and tank in 2020 with Blough at QB then draft Trevor Lawrence. While they're at it, trade any older vet for whatever picks they can get (Marvin Jones, Snacks, etc).

I get it, they're not a perennial power house but they're an SEC school, they have a RABID fanbase and it's another good chance to get exposure down here in SEC country.
Selfishly, I also want it to happen so I can drive 2 hours and watch Michigan play. Also, like 15 people I know were planning on making the trip up to AA in 2018 to watch the game. We've been looking at houses to rent for the weekend already. Sincerely hope Arkansas isn't left in the cold with this deal.
You're both right about Arkansas. these people are nuts and obsessed but overall decent to deal with. I tailgate there multiple times a year, always wearing maize and blue, and catch very little flack. I have a while crew going to the big house in 2018 also, those years should be a blast.
They are very confident in the progress they've made recently and expect to be very formidable in the next few years. My only response to them is "Year 5 of Harbaugh" and they usually calm down pretty quickly!

That's exactly the biggest problem. The sex and lying is bad but nothing compared to abusing power like that. The trip was four days after she was hired....there is no way a relationship didn't already exist that influenced that hire. That's the issue here. And that's what they will ignore in order to keep him.

I tailgated there two years ago in full on Michigan gear. Everyone i was with was a MSU fan. There were M fans everywhere though, majority were MSU fans though, obviously. It was all good...but yeah, definately students in that area. It was fun....until we lost....grrrr.
