It's funny when people say "Dashawn will make the best decision for himself and his family". Well, obviously! I've never heard a recruit say "yeah...there were better schools out there, but I just couldn't help but take the third best available option".
It's like saying "I looked for my keys all over the entire house but of course, they were in the last place I looked!" Why would you keep looking after you found them? Why would a recruit make a decision he knew to be a suboptimal one?
tl;dr fanspeak is silly.

Exactly. Walt is more antihero than protagonist.
I know that Vince Gilligan wants the series to parallel Scarface, but my perfect ending would be something akin to how the Godfather series wrapped up. Michael Corleone, tried his hardest to protect and preserve his family, yet ended up seeing it all fall apart around him, and he died an old man, alone, away from his home, with nobody to miss him. That'd be the most poetic ending I can think of for Walter White, as well.

I'm still rooting for Walt.

We go to a nine game conference schedule starting in 2016. We have four OOC games already determined for 2015, the first year ND cycles off, and three for 2016.

I believe they are on a year to year basis. Reynolds is a 5th year senior, anyway.

The time to regularize the QB flow was to take one in 2012 or an extra to Shane in 2013. Now things will regularize on their own, naturally, provided Speight RSs and we take a QB in every class from there out with the intent to redshirt.
Next year we'd look like
This would have been ideal, but it didn't happen, and I don't think we're going to double up anymore.

Much less complicated and lengthy than the OPs article, but thanks for the insightful criticism.

This is why pods rule. My friends and I had been devising a four pod system for when we inevitably add a 15th and 16th team, but that same plan can be modified slightly to accomodate our current setup:
Pods with 14 teams:
8 game conference schedule format:
This isn't every permutation, of course, but it shows how we systematically cycle through the conference with inherent variation:
Every team gets four home games and four away games. Every team plays every other team in the conference at least once every two years. Every team has a home and home with every other team in the conference at least once every five years...WITHOUT going to a 9 game schedule!

Does anybody know if there's a direct way to purchase old official student t-shirts?
I was class of 2010 including a victory lap, so I would be looking for ^that^ and the four previous incarnations. I lost all my gear sometime during my last change of address and it's just been eating at me.

Good. At the very least this is an alternative from the live four hour long 97.1 game feeds for anyone who doesn't follow Tigers baseball (me) or Pistons basketball (everyone else on this blog).

Ideally, the legends jerseys would be awarded to the unheralded seniors that display wonderful leadership. I'm all for young players having the incentive to pave the way for a new jersey to become legendary and-not unrelatedly-I would prefer to not have to get used to switches mid-career away from an already recognizable number.
I would give Desmond's #21 to walk-on WR Joe Reynolds.

I hate taking this bait, but this is the inevitable analogy:
If I have a girlfriend (verbal commit), I don't want her looking around for better options (visiting other schools, receiving other coaches).

Larry Hughes led the NBA in steals at 2.9 a game in one of his contract seasons and conned his way into a first team All-NBA Defensive spot.
He was never known as a great defender beforehand and never again afterword.
For whatever reason, people acknowledge it's a problem when you have an overeager big man that tries to block every shot and falls for pump fakes and up and unders and drop off passes, yet they they are impressed by the passing lane gambler who messes up his teammates' defensive rotations and gives up driving lanes.
Steals aren't everything.
