My BFF just passed the bar so we are about to hit up the town and have too many rum and cokes in a magical display of poor character and fitness. |

Very proud of some people in this thread! I never thought I'd see the day that members of *this* board deemed a joke to be past its prime. Progress! |

I pay 33 cents a month to read his stuff and get a copy of ESPN the Magazine. Those people should be upset, for they are getting ripped off. |

Ah....so all the other Franks on the planet were rocketed into the Sun and *THE* remaining Frank's surname is no longer necessary, for there is no need to distinguish him from the now banished Franks. I feel ya. |

This was just...so strange. Probably not her debut, and on-site instead of in-studio, but still as bizarre as BGTD and fuckin' shit guy. |
| 4 weeks 6 days ago | What logjam? Brandon Knight |
What logjam? Brandon Knight only played the 2 because Calderon was brought in. He may be well-suited as a combo guard off the bench, but if he starts I want him at PG. Assuming no Calderon return, the following players are under contract: If it's me, I'm drafting Oladipo or McLemore to start at SG and moving Stuckey to the bench where he will languish and wither and die (or, back up both guard positions). |
| 4 weeks 6 days ago | Lotto Picks y/n? on Burke |
Y Orlando-31year old Jameer Nelson, 30 year old journeyman Beno Udrih N Charlotte-Has Kemba Walker who put up 18/6 last year. N Cleveland-Kyrie Irving. N Phoenix- Has 15/7 Goran Dragic and spent a lotto pick on Kendall Marshall last year. N New Orleans-Has 14/9 Greivis Vasquez and needs to figure out a way to get Austin Rivers to work alongside Eric Gordon. Y Sacramento-Could use Burke. No PG play to write home about. Y Washington-Should take Burke if they can, John Wall has been so injury prone and could walk away as a free agent. N Detroit-Doesn't need him. I'd take McLemore #1 if I had to. N Minnesota-Ricky Rubio. N Portland-ROY Damian Lillard Y Toronto-Could use Burke. Kyle Lowry hasnt exactly worked out. Maybe Philadelphia-Has young 18/8 Jrue Holiday, but no backup. Y Dallas-Needs any young player with a pulse. Y Utah-Needs Burke. PGs are old and journeymen (Earl Watson, Mo Williams, Jamaal Tinsley). |

From where I'm sitting, they mesh just fine. The issue isn't that they don't play well together, but that they could have developed even more chemistry had the move to start both been made sooner. |

Hey guys! That one legendary guy we've all heard about that has never committed a typo: THIS IS HIM! On OUR board! |
| 5 weeks 10 hours ago | I figure he burned too many |
I figure he burned too many bridges in his playing days and the old boy network just doesn't support him. It's one thing to win and then reveal yourself as an ass, as Popovich has done, it's another to be vilified by every fanbase outside of Detroit and then try to get into the front office. |

Fourth consecutive coaching search where I believe this man is the solution. |

How do you figure? A team is much more likely to invest in and a PG picked in the top 10 (Burke) than the Magic gave to Nelson, taken 20th overall. |
| 5 weeks 5 days ago | They can skip college and go |
They can skip college and go to the NBDL. Latavious Williams did so. It didn't work out so well for him. Players have to be 19 or one year removed from high school, whichever comes later, to be NBA draft eligible. |
| 5 weeks 5 days ago | Jameer is an eerily excellent |
Jameer is an eerily excellent comparison. Their PPG in college are 16.8 vs 16.9. Both were AP Player of the year, won the Wooden, and won the Naismith awards. If Burke's floor is Jameer Nelson, who made one all-star game in the NBA, that's not half bad. |
| 5 weeks 6 days ago | You're thinking of Derrick |
You're thinking of Derrick Favors out of Georgia Tech, who went third behind John Wall and Evan Turner in 2010. Derrick Williams of Arizona went #2 to Minnesota TWolves behind #1 pick Kyrie Irving in 2011. |
