With as much as the D has improved already the thing i am most excited about is Big Will. he had a couple of plays where he looked like a 5 star potential NFL dt. With this coaching i think he's just going to get more consistent and will be one of the best players on the defense by the end of the year.

The fact that he is from in state does help him because he is being compared to the other in state kids rather the out of state which is much harder to get accepted

The main reason that we've focused in-state and in the midwest is that we haven't had to go national with the amount of talent in the state. Why go abroad and have to introduce recruits to michigan when they can stay at home. Also it's really hard to get someone form california to take an unofficial visit on their own dime. I think national recruiting will pick up when recruits take officials because i haven't heard of any recruit visiting so far and not loving loving it.

 I currently go to Carnegie Mellon but i grew up in ann arbor so i'm a maize and blue fanatic and lacking a real college team to root for (go tartans) i had to do something.So I got one of my friends to find someone who didn't want tickets (dumb) and offer them 300 for them. Then i gave one of my friends the money so he could get a new M card and he gave me his old one and voila for $325 i got season tickets in the best section possible. I think i'm only gonna make it back for three games (ND, Neb, OSU) so i'm gonna sell the rest.

I've watched him for four years and i've just never seen the consistency to be an every down linebacker in the NFL. I think he ends of being a pass down blitzing lb and a special teams stud. why wouldn't you be surprised by oregon. I've  never anything dirty about them. They even kicked their heisman candidate QB off the team. They've got the nike money burning holes in their pockets (and apparently on their basketball court), they have become much more relevant in the last 5-6 years, their in the same conference USC, and whats more shocking than the MNC runner up recruiting scandal.

My first thought was Oregon. I think they realized the shit that USC was pulling and figured the only way to compete was to go with the crowd. They probablyy even picked up the tab on a couple of Usc transfers

Dude if you fail a drug test when you get hired at a job, you will be fired. From the sound of things Mallet is about to fail his drug test. If you get a DUI, you aren't going to get fired from work or even suspended. So the fact that the NFL will suspend players makes them stricter than normal. Mallet getting drafted at all is much more lenient than i would when applying for a job.

Its a shame he won't be able play any away games except to Ann Arbor

I know this comparison has been beaten to death but Vince Young was consistently good until his junior year. Why not let Tate win a MNC and a heisman in 2012 and then let DG take the helm and then repeat with two more MNC's and a heisman in 2014.
