I am so sick of reading about how Rich Rod got a "raw fucking deal" at Michigan. The "bottom line" is Rich Rod knew how much he'd get for his coordinators and still decided to come to Michigan. The other bottom line is he sucked ass here. His offense was trash against any decent team and the defense was one of the worst in the country 3 years running.

Are you one of those people who actually believe Lloyd Carr fucked Rich Rod? Rich told the media that Lloyd slacked in recruiting his last few years. After using this excuse and pissing all over Lloyd he turned around and cried that he got "no support". No wonder Lloyd didn't publicly support Rod because Rod was an asshole who had an excuse for everything. Fucking makes me sick to see all the people who blame Lloyd for Rod's FAILURE.

Rod was a cocky fucker too. First message he delivered to his team was "Ya'll lost Michigan's Edge and I'm here to get it back". Another cheap shot at Lloyd and former players. Hoke is a failure as well but that doesn't mean that Rod was worth a shit here. The "improving" argument is a giant copout. Guy didn't have a quality win in 3 years, his teams folded, ect.

Bottom line: Good luck at Az! Happy you're gone.

Are you speaking of the Minnesota team that went 10-3 and 5-3 in the Big Ten? The Minnesota team that ran on everybody they played? The one that beat Oregon in the bowl after we lost to them? The same team that UM had one of the greatest comebacks on? How did Rich do against that Wisonsin team? 

OP you really need to stop blaming Lloyd. Rich Rod had no class and blamed Lloyd for everything his first year and then turned around and cried he didn't have support after he took a giant shit on Lloyd. If he fielded a DEFENSE one year during his three he would still be here. No question.

We don't fucking deserve this and stop pretending that Rich Rod was worth a shit at UofM. He was awful and couldn't beat a quality team to save his life (or job). You think fans in the SEC aren't super passionate about their teams? You think they wouldn't have fired his ass at Florida? At Georgia? Alabama? Aurburn? Please they would have canned his ass just like we did. Rich Rod got blown the fuck out by any decent team he played. We should be passionate about our football team and drop the Rich Rod shit. If he won games he would have been accepted. He didn't and we'll get a good coach here. Our fan base should be passionate and just like any other program with football success we shouldn't accept a shitty coach.

It is so fucking ignorant to blame Lloyd Carr for Rich Rod failing at Michigan. Lloyd was a great coach, won a national title, many big ten championships, and ran a clean program with a high graduation rate. It's disgusting to see people point the finger at Lloyd and blame him for Rich Rod's complete failure here. If Rod had known how to play fucking defense at all he'd still be here. Oh yea and his offense looked like shit against any decent team he played. Brady Hoke has proven to be a failure as well but that doesn't mean that Rich Rod didn't fuck up royally here either. It shouldn't be disputed that he did more at Arizona in his first year than he did at UofM in 3 years.

During Friday's walkthrough at the stadium Lloyd would use this mat and call out the different special teams. He would then pick players at random and say "so and so is out of the game injured" and the backup would go to the mat. Lloyd would do this with all special teams to make sure this kind of shit didn't happen. As far as Brady saying shit like "that's on me" hell yes it is! Piss poor poundball bullshit when you can't even get 11 men fielded.

Former players did not like Rich Rod because he came in and took a big shit on every tradition UofM has. Rich didn't bother to learn anything before coming and acted like he was the greastest thing to happen to Michigan. First thing he said when addressing the team at their first workout was, "Ya'll lost Michigan's Edge and we're here to get it back". Then procedes to go 3-9 and doesn't get a signature win the next two years. If Rich Rod would have shit on the program but actually won some big games former players wouldn't have been so vocal. If Rich Rod could have put a defense on the field and an offense that worked against more than Illinois and Indiana he'd still be here.

I'll never forget my first loss at Michigan. My first time in the team meeting room following a loss was 2004 Notre Dame. A player whom was a year my senior turned around to address the freshman "Whatever you do DO NOT make a noise when Lloyd comes in the room". Usually the team meeting room would erupt when Lloyd entered so I wasn't sure if the upperclassman was fooling around. Lloyd entered and the meeting room was as quite as if somebody had died. Lloyd went over the game and then we broke up into meetings on offense and defense. Whenever there was a loss it was serious business down at Schembechler.

I hate watching the teams that followed my experience because there is a lot of smiling on the sideline. After getting the shit kicked out of them these teams have had a great time. Denard did this constantly and he surely wasn't/isn't the only one. Want to talk about thoughness or leadership Brady? Where is the toughness after a loss? Where are your leaders? Is there nobody in Ann Arbor that can set the team straight after a loss? The answer apparently is no.
