They've certainly felt the brunt of it. As to your question further up, about a solution. I don't know, and I won't pretend to. I don't feel it's a sustainable trend, but I share your sentiment that no good is done by simply demonizing those on one end of the spectrum. It's a more complex problem than that.

26 weeks 6 days ago	Long term	Long term, the numbers will belong to position groups, correct? 87 will always be a TE, 47 and 48 LB's, 21 (and 1) to WR, 2 to a CB. If that's the case I like 11 back there. It's a weird number to fit in somewhere, and that seems as good a position as any other I can think of. Kovacs will always be #32, the fact that he was honored with 11 for the last 4-5 games of his senior year won't change that.

29 weeks 22 hours ago	I think this is it for me	I think this is it for me, I really do. In '05 I never said that because I knew as upset as I was at the moment, I'd be back as soon as hockey was. This time? I really don't think I will. This league doesn't deserve fans anymore. Hell, what's really left anyway? Yzerman has been gone, now Lidstrom is too. Those two were my heroes growing up. Most of the others are gone too. Draper, Maltby, Ozzie, Homer, McCarty, and on and on. I may miss Datsyuk and Z, but for their sake I hope they stay in Europe anyway. Those guys deserve to be worshiped as the superstars they are, not spend their last few years in a crater of a city with spoiled fans, playing for a league and players union who so spectacularly trip over their dicks like this again and again. Screw you guys, I'm going home.

32 weeks 6 days ago	I was really upset to see this	I was really upset to see this yesterday. The kid was clearly not alright. You don't need a CT scan on the sidelines to see this. I'm not a doctor, but as someone who suffered a pretty serious sports-related concussion I would think it's something that's pretty easy to see in a case like this. Get him on the sideline and start with the rapid-fire questions. "What's your mother's full name? Where were you born? What dorm do you live in? What did you eat for breakfast? What month is it? Who's the president?" I don't know what really happened on the sidelines yesterday, maybe he really was fine. I just have a hard time believing that after seeing him laid out on the field the way he was.

I know it's not a popular opinion, but I say stop playing it during the game, period. If you're serious about stopping the chant that's the only way it's going to happen.

The women cooked, cleaned, raised the children, set up camp, tore down camp (nomadic tribes), made clothes, tended to the horses, gathered food, tanned hides, and made pemmican. The men hunted buffalo, made war, slept, ate, and had sex with their multiple wives. I know that's not at all relevant to the discussion, it's just really freakin' awesome.

Did I miss anything today?   Seriously though, why can't two teams with some of the most iconic uniforms in college football actually take the field to play each other in fucking said uniforms?! Better yet, both teams should wear their home uni's. The NCAA allows it if both teams agree and I think it would look really good for this game.
