Right there with you buddy.

Right there with you buddy.  I can't watch football, wear anything Michigan, talk about it, or think about it for at least a couple days.  I am embarrassed to say that the MSU loss absolutely ruined my night and inherently my family's night.  It used to be much worse, but the past 8 or so years have humbled me a bit more.

I got about 30 posts in and

I got about 30 posts in and with all of the methods to getting to 12 started making my head hurt. I'm raising my much needed coffee to Michigan truly making 12 a bad omen for MSU!

My grandfather was French

My grandfather was French Canadian, but born and lived in Michigan my entire life.  Never played hockey, but have always loved it.  Both of my boys play and my twin 3 year old girls are in Learn To Skate, so they may play hockey also.

Agreed, it's a crazy sport

Agreed, it's a crazy sport with crazy parents.  Add anonymity to that and it can be extremely cancerous.

One other thing I would like to add is that this website/board was well known by everyone involved in hockey in the Detroit area.  It got really bad for many involved and I know multiple coaches that instituted rules for their teams that if they even suspected a player or parent posting on the board, they could be kicked off.  I know a Honeybaked coach that followed through with that rule.

I wish that my son's head coach last year would have done the same.  Live and learn.

I can tell you from firsthand

I can tell you from firsthand experience that this board was not moderated at all, plus had a large fault of allowing people to be completely anonymous.  This led to a lot of defamation and unfounded claims that were very damaging to a lot of teams and organizations.  It got so bad that around March 2015, the board was halted by Network54.  It has since come back up and is now moderated better and there is some registration requirement now to post.

My firsthand experience is that my son was on a team that the head coach was talked about so horribly that it caused a lot of problems with the team and parents.  Most claims were unfounded or blatantly false, but it led to game cancelations, tournament drop outs, and eventually the disolvement of our team.  This was even more troubling because we were a high level team that was able to compete with AAA teams, which is likely why we were singled out so harshly.

Apparently that is the only

Apparently that is the only way to get those chickensh*t domers back in the Big House.

Hopefully now it works out as

Hopefully now it works out as well for us as it did for USC with Fargas.  Sucks it took nearly 15 years though.

Very much agreed.  Pass

Very much agreed.  Pass catchers are the least of my worries when it comes to this offense.  DG will find a way to have a solid year (IMO), but the running and the blocking are my major concerns.

No doubt, but that is the

No doubt, but that is the story practically every year in college football.  There is always a bunch of stars that need to be replaced with unproven players.  Having a solid WR/TE returning is very positive.  There is bound to be someone that steps up between Canteen, Darboh, Norfleet, Chesson, or maybe another RS frosh, or true frosh.

Steele 1st teamer Devin

Steele 1st teamer Devin Funchess.

But you only have 5 faces and

But you only have 5 faces and 6 categories.

You would be hard pressed to

You would be hard pressed to find a place cheaper than Champane's Wine Cellars on Chicago Rd in Warren, MI.  Not sure if it is worth the drive to you though.

This would be the only time I

This would be the only time I would ever listen to 97.1 for anything other than game broadcasts.  Think they could pair him with Wojo special just this time?

Was this sarcasm?  Cam Gordon

Was this sarcasm?  Cam Gordon is done.

So... only 1 State of

So... only 1 State of Michigan player in the top 100 and just barely checking in at #90?  Is Michigan bare in 2015?  I know it isn't exactly a talent rich state, but this seems pretty bad.  Normally there is at least 1 - 5 star or a few pretty close from my recollection, right?

I guess if you look just at

I guess if you look just at his WR stats on a heavily run oriented offense, you could say that.  If I remember correctly that when they did pass, he was a major target and got great numbers from it.  On the other side of the ball, I remember him having some great defensive statistics.

I think we need a new banner

I think we need a new banner tagline...

Jerks will be banned?

Why is it that when TomVH

Why is it that when TomVH says buckle up, he is praised... but BB gets hammered by the same morons (maybe?) when he says basically the same thing?

Personally, I like looking forward to it.  I definitely like it better than announcement dates by a known recruit, which seem rarely go Michigan's way.

IF they beat UNC this

IF they beat UNC this weekend, yes.  If they lose, the lose the tie breaker to GT I believe.

Correct me if I am wrong, but

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe the computers would reflect a Winston-less FSU (which mostly rank FSU #1), so the human polls would have to drop FSU by historic levels to make the difference up.

I am not rooting for it,

I am not rooting for it, believe me.  I am just baffled by the BCS and could see this happening, since the SEC hype machine that you mention is amazingly strong.  It would be a disgraceful event if it happened, but it appears to be plausible based on the current situation.

I don't doubt that, but

I don't doubt that, but Auburn also gets Missouri to pad their resume.  This is obviously all hypothetical, but valid.

Fat Tire getting 4 stars is

Fat Tire getting 4 stars is beyond my comprehension.  I can think of 20 ambers off the top of my head that beat the crap out of Fat Tire.  It is by far the most overrated beer in craft beer nation.  I understand it is made to appeal to the masses and convert macro fans, but still... 4 stars????

And to those that love Hopslam, cheers!  I would include Bells Expedition Stout and Three Floyds Zombie Dust in that group also.

Now you have Natty Daddy.

Now you have Natty Daddy.

So what does he deserve to

So what does he deserve to get paid?  What do the rest of the players deserve to get paid?  If someone at USC, Michigan, Alabama, etc has a Heisman winner and that jersey sells, how much of it is the school, how much is the player?

My wife's #16 jersey may have recently been worn by DR, but it had its ties to Arrington and Navarre before him.  If I buy the #1 jersey, who gets that money?

There are WAY too many variables to start paying amateur players.  College athletics will be ruined when these players are going to have to start hiring agents to negotiate for them.

How many players make a U

How many players make a U millions of dollars?  How do you discern how to pay those amateur players?  How do you define exactly how much that athlete made the U and how much that is worth in pay?  There really is not fair system.  The answer is go pro.  "Jack" may be getting paid the same now, but he won't when the star athlete goes pro and he doesn't.  Same as college, the ones that do great and can convert these skills they continued to develop into great things get paid more when they leave and go pro (in a general sense).

Anyone is more than welcome to correct me if I am wrong here with my example, but say a research student at a U comes up with some novel way to cure some disease, or track terrorists through satellite, or whatever.  It makes the U millions.  Does the student get the money too?  How about all the others that had a part in it?

I'll call with a Mike Duggan.

I'll call with a Mike Duggan.

I guess I am blind, because I

I guess I am blind, because I see every single LB blocked.

And Toussaint missed a large

And Toussaint missed a large hole in the middle of the line with a small cut to the right.  Could have made a 2 yard loss into a 6+ yard gain, likely more.

Wishful thinking.  Losing

Wishful thinking.  Losing both tackles, RB, and favorite target is difficult to overlook.

Yeah, completely off base

Yeah, completely off base here.  A pro-style QB that can also run will always be in demand.

Then let one of them play the

Then let one of them play the full game.

You just reminded me of how

I could do with a little less

I could do with a little less silicone personally.

1. Anybody ahead of Michigan

1. Anybody ahead of Michigan in the rankings.

2. Any B1G team that will help Michigan in some way.

3. Any Florida team.

4. Any SEC team.

5. USC

6. Texas/Oklahoma

I don't really root against Michigan rivals because it helps Michigan when they win.  However, it does feel nice to see them lose when it does happen.  Win-Win.

I would rather see that

I would rather see that rather than a bunch of advertising on the field and surrounding area.  Plus, it's not the worst novelty.

It's definitely disappointing

It's definitely disappointing to turn away a player with a lot of talent and wants to be at Michigan.  This is especially true from a position that we haven't had a lot of success recruiting top talent at.

Also quite confused by a lot

Also quite confused by a lot of them including Sparty, Indiana (on the powerhouse side?), Florida, UCLA, and CMU among others.

Glidden (available at Home

Glidden (available at Home Depot) has the colors laid out.  If you have a paint preference, most places have computers that can match colors to their paint from examples, like a poster or something.  Fabric doesn't always work well though.

Albert Pujols in St Louis is competitive, but his recent drop might slightly take him out of the conversation.

Make sure it is on the day

Make sure it is on the day Hand announces.

The best part is that he/she

The best part is that he/she didn't make it into a link and it's a dead one anyway.

Ok, still none here.  This is

Ok, still none here in metro Detroit.  This is frustrating.  Plus my wife is getting sick of me moping around after coming home to no tickets.

I like the surprise when I

I like the surprise when I get the tickets.  This will be my 7th year of season tickets and I have had a different seat each time by request.  I moved either section or row each time.  That damn grass is always greener....

2. Face down on a surface that allows some air circulation like wire racks or those liners that allow it.

3. If Midwest only referred to Great Lakes states, why would we still use the term and not just say Great Lakes states?  Should we still just call all of the continents Pangaea or Rodinia?

4. I do both, why limit the pleasure of an Oreo?

5. That depends on my mood, who I am talking to, and if I am drunk or not.
