He's absolutely right. The league needs to pick up it's recruiting and get better overall. Returning to the "Big 2, Little 10" will not help the league's prestige across the country. The other members of the Big Ten need to pick it up.

I always compared Roundtree and Braylon because they seem to make a crazy and clutch catch that nobody else would make. However, they both seemed to drop easy passes way too often. I like the comparison between the two. However, the physical abilities are different, obviously. I sure hope that Roy gets a chance at the next level and has a nice career in the NFL. I'll miss watching him play for Michigan

Is struggling early

Turned me off from Myles. I had it twice and both times I got sick from cheese overload. If I were to choose my BG favorite..has to be Campus Pollyeyes. CAN'T beat the stuffed breadsticks.

Sure, an option on 3rd and 7 is bad, but Borges has tried to get easy throws for Bellomy and Denard. Plain and simple, worst decision by the staff is staying with Bellomy

I have never understood why this staff is so confident in Bellomy. His arm strength is seriously lacking and it just showed there. Put in Gardner!!!

But whatever offense they had has only become worse this year. Last year's team was average, but at least they could compete. This year's offense is simply pathetic. I agree Chizik capitalized off of a gift in the form of Cam Newton, but I just think this was a poor hire on his part.

It all starts there. Getting destroyed on the offensive line is making our average/bad playcalls look absolutely terrible. Man! When the line plays well, the rest of the team will.

I wonder what effect S&C coaches have on this. I imagine that different S&C theories and training methods make transitions more difficult, and thus make the players more susceptible to injury. Just my thoughts.

OSU usually has a good returner or two as well. Seems like they return a couple kickoffs or punts every year.

Defense can be improved and will tighten up. Our INTs are absolutely killing us. If we can calm Denard down and start running something that resembles an offense, then we definitely can turn this around. Denard is the x-factor right now. Frank Clark looks good. Playing fast and instinctive. He seems like he has a ton of upside. I'm excited to see him continue to develop. All in all, I think the younger guys look really good

Agreed. It is time to step up, like a man, and play opponents that make us better. We are handicapped playing in the Big Ten. It is a good conference and I am proud of it, but, we need a serious, national, challenge outside of it. I'm proud that we played Alabama. Although it was ugly and exploited our weaknesses, we at least took a risk and played them. This is the first step in becoming the national power that we want to be.

It's 2012. Do you really think that the Pac-12's leaders' goal is the Rose Bowl? Conference titles? Hell no! For Oregon and USC, it is NC game or bust. It is not 1980 anymore-we want NATIONAL championships, not just Big Ten championships. If this program wants to gain national respect, we will aim for the national goals. I truly do hope that we stop these "old" Rose Bowl goals and aim for the stuff that really matters.

I want to play this type of high competition every year. I don't want to be Wisconsin; the Rose Bowl isn't good enough. We, as fans, should want national championships. With this schedule, we challenged ourselves and tested our abilities. So what-we failed. Next time, we won't. National championships matter-Rose Bowls are second place

Hoke wanted Alabama to have to prepare for Fitz and Clark so he waited this long. You nailed it that he was gaming Bama. I'm actually happier that he waited so long to say that they were suspended because it forced Saban to prepare for many different players.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with these kids having fun. Football is a game, and if they want to celebrate, let them. They aren't hurting anyone, and it is now just part of the culture. The days of Bo are gone, man, and you need to let that go. Remember what Michigan accomplished under him, but realize that not every coach that coaches here will be him. Brady is doing a fantastic job with these student athletes and I'm proud of the way that these kids represent Michigan.

Since Quinn and Clausen left, the QB situation in ND has been real bad. Not sure if they'll find their man for quite a while either. Although, it can't be the most fun time in the world getting screamed at every play by Brian Kelly, so I almost have sympathy for their QBs. Almost..

Urban Meyer and Ohio State think that they can get anyone they want. Under Tressel, they had excellent classes year in and year out. I have no doubt that Meyer will have the same types of classes , but he's taking an extremely arrogant approach.



Being/still living in Ohio, I know these fans will accept nothing less than a four star recruit. I can't tell you the amount of times that I talked with Ohio State fans about recruiting and their reaction to an Ohio kid committing to Michigan was always, "we didn't want them anyway." No. This fanbase is whack, and I think Meyer and OSU are a perfect match. They are both equally insane, overdemanding, and irrational. I feel like this marriage will be mildly successful, but in the end, the Bucks won't live up to the hype and Columbus will be very unsatisfied.

OU fans in no way hate Ohio State. The entire state of Ohio was united last night after beating Michigan. Take it from someone who lives here, OU does not hate Ohio State at all. In fact, I can't really think of any smaller school in Ohio that "hates" Ohio State. OU did the job that every Ohioan wanted to happen.



Also, nobody ever calls it Ohio U. I was born and raised in Ohio and I've never heard that before. It's just OU.

The reserves played harder in two minutes then the starters did in 38. Just overall a bad effort and terrible game. I'm sure they'll pick it up for the tournament.

I am a very recent graduate of BG, and if I take anything away from their below average athletics, it's that their hockey program will play their ass off against ranked opponents. Tonight personally came as a shock to me. I expected them to get slaughtered by Michigan. Coach Bergeron gets these guys excited for these types of games. Although they are last in the conference, they somehow show up and play their asses off during these types of games. Since tomorrow is senior night, expect a similar effort. These guys play hard when a ranked opponent comes into town.Bergeron will expect and motivate a similar effort tomorrow night from the Falcons. It's a proud program, a proud fanbase, and a school looking for big wins. If BG beats Michigan again, that makes the season for them. Sad, I'm sure for most of you. But for BG, beating Notre Dame and Michigan (possibly twice) in the same season is absolutely huge. 

My interests are torn. I remain as neutral as possible. This is difficult.

Recruiting done. Ever. Those schools will take any and every player they can. Oversigning drives me crazy. Hopefully these kids get the hint and make a smart decision.

My brother is an avid Ohio fans and has said multiple times to look for up to twelve Players to be gone by spring ball. Workouts, transfers, and disciplinary dismissals will do that. They will find a way to make it work-they always do.

This is similar to Brionte Dunn's recruitment. I think he's very torn about where to go. On one hand, I think he really likes the idea of playing under Mattison and Hoke, but I have to believe that his friend is pushing him to go to Ohio and play under coach Meyer.

In many ways I do not admire these kids. This is a very difficult decision to make and I'd be taking my time and be just as confused as many of them are. Hopefully he goes blue in the end!

Urbs putting together a great class for Ohio. It does worry me a bit, but Hoke has put together a great class here. Here's to a revived and extremely competitive war with Ohio.

I get tired of people being angry about uni changes. I enjoyed all of them this season, and I'm interested to see what future uniforms are worn. Personally, I'd like to not have the numbers next year and leave them a trademark for team 132 for a few years.
