The annoying thing is he wasn't hired because he was a Michigan Man. I mean, partially, yes. But he was extremely admired in NBA coaching circles and ostensibly up for a few NBA job openings. I think Diabate and Houstan leaving early was a huge gut punch, although I'm not sure we'd be looking so much better anyway.
hot take: Michigan has an 18 billion dollar endowment fund. I am not rich. I am not donating money so maybe hopefully we don't lose someone to the transfer portal.
This is valid. I would say that comparing this year's O-Line to last year's is a bit unfair considering last year's was one of the best in school history. And obviously our WR room isn't world class and Corum has taken a small step back, but I'd still take this year's O over the previous two.
The JJ slander irked me the most. Dude is a stud and to blame his struggles on sign gate is just saltiness at its finest. He'll prove a lot of people wrong Jan 1st.
It's pure salt. Our offense is very good. "I tHouGHT hIesMAn cAndiDATes sHoulD thRoW moRe tHan 8 tIMES" is clearly from someone on PSU's staff crying because we ran it down their throats, again. The Stallions narrative is ridiculous. JJ played a great game against MSU & OSU and very well against Iowa. We'll be fine.
A mother gives her son two sweaters for Hannukah. The next morning he comes downstairs for breakfast wearing one of them. She says "What? You didn't like the other sweater?"
I agree. If this proves to be a sliding doors moment that could either solidify Harbaugh's tenure for another decade or abruptly end it, then it very may well be significant.
Article also says:
"The league claims that Michigan, as one source with knowledge of the allegation said, is using a “vast network” to steal opposing teams’ signs."
Can we get an "Undercover Spy for Harbaugh" mgoshirt printed before i go to EL on Saturday?
I'll take the contrarian side here and ask what are we really leaving behind? A system where we tied with Nebraska as CFB champions? The BCS? The exploitation of athletes, while the NCAA continues to profit immensely?
If you believe that players should have the right to profit monetarily from their talents, it seems contradictory to be outraged when the league starts to look more professional. Yes, there will be those who lose out in this new structure. It's unfortunate, but we must recognize that college football is inevitably moving towards a super league setup.
I'm not losing sleep over this change. Keep key rivalry games, throw in a 16-team playoff, and you've got something that feels like a great mod from NCAA 2014. Not the death of the sport.
Fresh off of watching JJ youtube highlights, and I gotta say we should be no lower than second. Like, yes if we were just placing Cade's player profile in a vacuum, #4 is completely fair. But we live in 2 QB town baby. Our offense's utilization of JJ and Cade's Dragon Ball Z "fusion ha" will amount to a much more dynamic threat than Payton Thorne, and certainly more dynamic than that Texas dude who went 3-6 in conference play.
Except for the Taulia / McCord situation, we're on the same page this year. I lean toward McCord mainly due to the timing of when we face them in the schedule. November Maryland at the top spot? That's a no for me. I'll bet a dollar that Taulia is significantly hobbled by the time he faces Michigan.
It was great. Apart from 2021/2022 MIchigan football, they have to be my favorite M team of my lifetime. Burke gave a really nice speech, which was especially impressive given his rocky history with the university. They still seem super close. t was bittersweet to see John Beilein back at Crisler -- just an A+ human and wonderful ambassador for the university..
3) @MSU. I don't expect them to be good, but this is their Super Bowl.
4) @Nebraska. Lincoln is a very hard place to play + no more scott frost with a relatively talented group.
5) @Minnisota. They're losing Tanner Morgan, Ibrahim and a bunch of other key contributors, but it's away and the rest of our schedule is cupcake town. Maybe @maryland instead... But November Maryland..

Later, when asked about Michigan State Jeremiah added "they beat people up"
Nice! I'm at 1935. A horrible year where we lost 40 - 0 to the eventual champion Minnesota Golden Gophers! Help change this.

The same anonymous coaches that have gone 1-38 vs Michigan over last few years don’t think theyre good enough. This article boiled my blood.
Sending positive thoughts to you and your family 🙏

My comment from last year. I'd say pretty good!

I think it has to be Aidan Hutchinson although I have a feeling Corum will be #1 when it's all said and done.
Can someone explain that quote. Did lloyd say it?
The CBs will be plentiful for the CBs.
