Anyone else watch the Witches with Anjelica Huston? That scared the crap out me as a kid. I tried rewatching it last month and it was still scary as an adult.
Another company working on antibody treatments is Centivax - they had great results in treating hamsters but it’s a smaller company so won’t be available for human use until next year. They were featured in the Pandemic documentary on Netflix.
Today's "luxury" condos are tomorrow's affordable condos. There's a process called filtering, by which even luxury unit supply will lower the costs of lesser condos. Only way it won't happen is if there is so much pent-up demand that too little supply doesn't make a dent.
Great post, Brian. Housing affordability is the crisis of our time, caused by onerous zoning restrictions and years of under-building. Props to your bold stance on a sports blog.
Only quibble is the dismissal of Vision Zero. We are so far away from "advanced technologies" eliminating traffic deaths, given the likely slow adaption by all motorists. We need traffic engineering and enforcement solutions now to remedy all the lives that are needlessly lost on our roadways.
Lead poisoning is an underrated crisis in so many communities, even separate from the latest Fkint emergency. Keep up the great work and thank you for all that you do.
Agreed. It's a chilling commentary on how little minimum wage buys you, how messed up metro Detroit's regional transportation is, how few good jobs there are in Detroit, etc. It's a miscrosm of so many sad problems that boggles my mind that someone would feel "picked up" by this article.
Can I trust that someone is constantly monitoring for Derrick Green being listed in the U of M directory? Funny that Brian was just joking about this on WTKA this week.
I am friends with his brother and was lucky enough to meet Teddy a few times. It only took about 2 minutes with him to discover what a genuinely good person he was. He fought his illness with such strength and bravery that it was an inspiration. The Scott Family and the Michigan Community lost a great one and he will be missed.
I can't walk 2 city blocks in this town without seeing a Michigan shirt or a license plate with "Michigan Alumni" on it. If half the people who came to B-Bill's for game watching showed up to the event it would be a massive success.
October 12th. Columbus Day. Every year in college I got to walk around campus and see chalk on the ground indicating that we shouldn't celebrate my birthday as a holiday b/c Columbus = genocide.
When I was in school, I knew someone who was big in the College Dems, and he helped plan a speech from Michael Moore. Prior to the event, Moore had my friend buy him a Michigan hat at Steve and Barry's or something. I'm sure he just wanted to pander to the crowd.
Right, I would think they would announce it if it were. If Rich Rod knew he had no chance of getting him in, I think he would do whatever he could to help DD find another school (unless that school is in Columbus). He seemed supportive of Witty when this was happening to him.

What do you think are the chances that he shares with Juwan Howard his secrets for recruiting under-the-radar players with NBA potential?
There's a great new band called Hanson and all the members are under 40!

I'm not 100% sure but it's a hot take so I just fire away without thinking it through.
Semi-Charmed Life was the best song of the 90's. There, I said it.
When Brian Cook was in culinary school they called him "Cook" because he could really cook.

Does Harbaugh's policy of playing almost all freshmen have any tangible effect on current recruits?

He definitely committed a random act of ishaqness
Great work! I'm more impressed by this than anything you could have done on the court - best of luck to you.
It's actually Rosentraub - I went to law school with his daughter who ironically enough was an OSU fan

Michigan 27, Nebraska 26. I'm too lazy to see if that score has been taken.
Rush yards: 322
I just did the same exact thing after the Illinois game. Historical context for breakout stars is interesting.
Michigan 31, Illinois 0

Sure, I'd be happy to. Who should I contact? Brian, Seth, Lloyd Brady?
They should come to D.C. in the future. Huge alumni base who usually turns out for events like these.
Please just nobody hire away THE KNOWLEDGE!
Why do Michigan's high-rated recruits drop more often than they rise when rankings are revised?
TomVH : interesting : Sam Webb : gut feeling?
My best wishes to Orlando Pace in his retirement as well.

Go easy on Ted, he's probably tweaking on crystal meth he got from a prostitute
Most people use "effect" for "affect," not "affect" for "effect." Touche

Tacopants is ushering. He's got a great eye for open seats.
And so is Fisher. (Unless you know something I don't)
Nice to see a past and future Heisman winner in the same photo. Is it just me or does Denard look like what Randy from the Wire would all grown up?
You didn't even include the saddest cross-out of all:
Space Emperor of SpaceDoes anyone know if it will be espn3.com? I actually have that somehow.
Every scene matters. Everything is realistic. It's incredibly well-written. Very rich characters. And there's some good comic relief.
Inconceivable!!
