44 weeks 17 hours ago	I played against John Tavares	I played against John Tavares when he played for the Oshawa Generals fro 2005-2007, and with Steven Stamkos when I played for the Sarnia Sting for a couples years. Technically it is junior league but it was damn cool. On a side note I barely played and both of these individuals were signifigantly better than me.

1 year 5 weeks ago	Shanahan is an idiot. I hate	Shanahan is an idiot. I hate the blackhawks and still think the Shaw suspension is way over the top.  1. Shaw obviously did not mean to hit Mike Smith and was only trying to make a "hockey play" 2. Shaw is very lucky he didn't get a concussion ( I got one years back on a similar play) goalie helmets protect the head a hell of a lot better than player helmets. He was going for the puck, as was the goalie, and happen to go helmet to helmet. That play should have tops been a five minute penalty. This is beating a dead horse but Shea Webber should have been suspended. If Ian White did the same thing in the same scenerio he would have been suspended. Calkner one game suspension is laughable, and if Asham gets anything less than five (won't matter Pitt/Philly is going max 5) that will be a joke. Neal won't get suspended for trying to take out Sean Couterier and Claude Giroux.

I thought America was based on Innocent until proven guilty. Oh wait Peterno isn't being accused of anything except for the fact that he may or may not have said anything about the Scandal when he found out about what was going on. This is something I am comfortable guaranteeing you do not absolutely know, because if you did you would be the same person you are persecuting Paterno for.

Sadly people the media bend the truth everytime a story is told. Now I do not know if Joe Paterno did the right thing by going to the police and disassociating himself from Sandusky(There are reports that he did and reports that he didn't), but I am going to judge the man's life about what I know is absolutely true, he was a philanthropist, an insperational coach, a great man ( I met him once when I was in high school) and most of all a loving father husband and friend to many. Let's not forget the many many many many many many many many great things he did throughout his life.  Oh yeah meeting Peterno once for no more than 2 minutes is one of the greatest moments of my life. Only surpassed by the birth of my son, day I got Married, and the day I graduated college.
