|17 hours 1 min ago||not my point.||
smart / stupid has nothing to do with it.
bitching all the time - even after a big win (as in "they couldn't beat my high school team a few weeks ago") doesn't make you "honest" or "realistic." it just makes you a pain in the ass.
|1 day 6 hours ago||whoa...||
basketball is cool and all, but babies?
|1 day 6 hours ago||in beilein we trust||
we might be a really tough out.
|1 day 6 hours ago||'couldn't beat my high school'||
i remember sitting in the stands at michigan stadium when we were down 17 to virginia a few years ago. there was a dude behind me bitching that we should just send out the baseball team instead and generally making an ass of himself.
i'm sure you guys would have been best buds.
|1 day 8 hours ago||as always||
in beilein we trust.
literally nobody i'd rather have on our sideline.
|2 days 12 hours ago||i liked borseth, too...||
i thought he did a nice job while he was here - i think he became known for that postgame rant early in his tenure, but i liked it...he was calling out his team publicly, and sometimes you need to do that.
i have to say, i don't remember an issue with the transition, though - i thought he left by his own choice, to get closer to family...am i forgetting something?
agree 100% - arrico was a great hire.
|2 days 17 hours ago||typo?||
bad hair, or bad ears?
wait, i guess that won't help.
|2 days 17 hours ago||oh, of course he can.||
|2 days 18 hours ago||next up.||
it's just that simple. talent will out, no matter who fills the slot.
|2 days 18 hours ago||of course they did...||
...i'd say that this is going to get worse before it gets better, but we all know differently.
|2 days 18 hours ago||another interesting thing she said...||
...was that sparty was chirping all game long and that it took us out of our comfort zone. i like that she noticed and is making it a point of emphasis going forward; get knocked down, get back up stronger.
very, very optimistic about this team and this program. they're good.
|3 days 11 hours ago||that.||
...is really, really neat. thanks!
|3 days 11 hours ago||yup,||
...take a walk to the back room of the closest restaurant, bang a cocktail waitress...it's worked for him before
|3 days 12 hours ago||interesting...||
...my brother was also a student manager at that time, and he said the same thing - that mo never ever had a drink in public. he's always said it was totally out of character for him.
|3 days 12 hours ago||well, so far...||
greg gard wouldn't be the first coach to ride a couple of good seasons with the last guy's players.
he looks good right now, but he's got a lot of seniors on that team, and ethan happ committed to bo ryan in 2012 (!). gard's recruiting has been just okay.
|3 days 12 hours ago||what a bummer.||
to think, we could've hired him in 2001 instead of tommy amaker. not only would we have gotten the second-smarmiest coach in the state of kentucky, but we could have had his idiot kid in waiting, ready to take over.
|4 days 12 hours ago||agreed...||
...i remember saying that if he was coming off a couple of 10-1 / rose bowl seasons he would've kept his job.
|4 days 12 hours ago||moeller / mike davis||
i would also add that not only was mike davis not handpicked, he was only made the interim after a player revolt requesting that he get the job...when the players are asking that you be hired, that's a pretty good sign that discipline is not exactly high on your list of priorities. knight never would have picked him, and if i recall correctly he was pretty dismissive of davis on several occasions. i'm guessing bobby would have chosen pat knight to take over, proving for the 10,000th time that letting someone pick his successor is a bad idea.
davis was also pretty clearly overmatched (despite making the national title game in his second season) and got canned for being resoundingly mediocre, while moeller was relatively successful (if disappointing) as bo's successor. i dont' recall too many calls for his head pre-excalibur.
|4 days 17 hours ago||best of luck to him.||
i hope asiasi and wheatley are 1st and 2nd team all-americans in 2019.
|4 days 17 hours ago||sheesh.||
yeah, you "have to hope he won't be washed away by the oroville dam." pretty douchey.
|5 days 17 hours ago||who's bragging?||
he brought up big ten titles.
but please go ahead and argue against a point i didn't make in the first place. also, the ledge is over there. please go ahead and jump.
here's what i don't get - why are you here? do you enjoy this? pissing moaning complaining literally all day long? grow up and get over it. and please, for the love of god, DON'T GO TO THE GAMES. nobody wants to sit anywhere near a fan like you. your constant manbabying makes everyone around you miserable.
helpful hint - bitching all the time doesn't make you 'honest,' or 'realistic,' or whatever. it just makes you a dick.
|6 days 12 hours ago||you know what games i had bad vibes about?||
the trip to indiana. wisconsin, coming in off a loss. at minnesota. we were this close to going 3-0 on those three. we should have been 3-0.
|6 days 12 hours ago||big ten titles||
steve fisher never won one. beilein has two.
|6 days 12 hours ago||derp.||
michigan has also appeared in a national title game more recently than both kansas and ucla.
|6 days 12 hours ago||yeah...||
...thad matta is on his way out of columbus, dipshit.
|6 days 15 hours ago||rough day.||
we played one of our worst games of the season, and sparty played perfect....this wasn't a situation where we couldn't defend them. they're a good team, and they just shot the lights out. it happens.
the program wouldn't have been defined by this game win or lose. we're young, talented, and recruiting at a high level...we're clearly still on the upswing. keep watching.

|1 week 4 days ago||sweet christ.||
i'm not going to watch video, because fuck that guy, but good god, what a twatwaffle.
he just whined, at the podium, about people calling sparty whiners. QED, motherfucker.
|1 week 5 days ago||agree 100%||
both on his defense, and on the pull-up 20-footer...well, mostly. irvin can be a good (if streaky) shooter, and i don't mind him firing one up as a heat-check. if he's feeling it, great, keep it coming.
he'll come around.
|1 week 5 days ago||wow,||
you sound like a real hoot. sheesh.
