Potential entrants must complete an essay on "Why I Should be Allowed to Run in the Barkley," pay a $1.60 application fee, and complete other requirements subject to change. If accepted, an entrant receives a "letter of condolence."
It felt very much like that. A la 1980 against Russia. That’s the game of the playoffs, but then still have to finish out to win the whole thing. Which we did!
I was there. And you did. In addition to this recap, I’ll just say it looked like we were low on gas most of the third. Yes, the goals were ugly for west, but the team also just looked sloppy. Phenomenal first period, second was survival due to Hughes, but third was lifeless save a few minutes. Got a real gift from the Gophers that they committed a penalty with 16 seconds left in regulation giving us the extra man in OT (and an oh so close chance to score with 1 second left in regulation).
I actually think that’s good for Corum. He can probably still lean up by about 10 lbs and drop under 4.5. He’s moldable to what a team needs, and that’s good.
Your knees can take a thrashing skiing, your butt and wrists can take a thrashing snowboarding. Either way you’re going to be sore. But I would recommend skiing. You’ll be able to move on to blues by day two most likely.
There is nothing more painful than catching an edge unexpectedly on a snowboard. You’ll either catch the front edge and at best face plant hard or catch your back edge and at best give yourself a good whack of the noggin. At worst much worse things can happen. Wear a helmet!!!!
Wasn’t going to be the end of the game. I wa initially wondering the same thing, but Romo explained it was just the end of the first OT quarter if time expired.
I have three home field sweatshirts. All fit and feel a little different, but all are great. My Vermont Catamounts (have family from there) sweatshirt is the most typical type (a little heavier material, not quite as soft), my Michigan (not championship) is lighter and super soft, and my Michigan 2023 NC sweatshirt is somewhere in the middle.
the picture doesn’t even do the play justice. Trey went straight up. There was zero interpretation to conclude this was a foul, yet conclude the ref did!
I changed mine after that game. My first son was just 18 months at the time and I realized I couldn’t get that wrapped up in sports anymore. I’ve been able to stick to that commitment pretty well. Now that he’s nine it’s fun taking him and my 6 year old along for the sports rides, but doing so with a fairly muted fandom compared to my old self.
Maybe. But maybe not. I think Charlie Baker actually wants to fix this. Whether his head of compliance, who doesn't oversee it, feels the same way is TBD.
The 7 day thing isn’t a state law. It’s a university policy. I wouldn’t worry about it no being posted. There’s also a chance it’s only posted on internal job boards if posted at all.
Does anyone know if it’s “easier” to get admitted by transferring in from another good/very good school but that’s not quite on Michigan’s level? That happened to be my route back in the early aughts and I was told acceptance rates for transfers is substantially higher.
This is a terrible take. Also, the NCAA does not, based on recent history, punish players prospectively. The school could face a fine and Harbaugh could get a specific penalty, but there will not be prospective post-season bans or anything like that.

But I thought he was Zach Wilson 2.0, absent the sleeping around bit.
So you’re telling me there’s a chance.gif
that’s good!

this is awesome!!
And will be again!
JJ McSomethingOrOther I think...but tough to recall.
Toss up, in my mind, between this and Mike’s hit on Henderson in this game. What a game!
It was a really good throw by McCord. Perfect placement. Q was just that much more perfect on his timing and hit!
There’s a Bo Pellini video where he goes full conspiracy on this.

I was thinking the same thing.
No. That is, and always will be, Miami of Ohio 2010.
This was Craig’s suggestion and everyone else laughed it away.
Gotta pay for those greens fees somehow.
Yes. What you’re thinking happened. It’s yes.
Had a rough last game of the year to boot.

Second only to Plenty O’Toole in Diamonds are Forever (even though her role was very brief).
So evil. And the worst kind of evil because she’s doing it “in the best interest” of her patients.
That’s two thus far Shooter.
Female lead in the Spy Who Loved Me is Ringo’s wife.
I actually like it better than Thunderball though. I loved the game he played against Max with the nukes and the shocks.

Michigan playing Northwestern at Lambeau? Count me in!
NCAA does not run the College Football Playoffs
It’s very likely an S corp
Do you know we’re being cheap or are you assuming?
Was it with your avatar?
Can't find it, but there was a great "I ♥ ♥" t-shirt back in the day.
But I thought it was because we had signs and not stars.
Thanks. One year during covid seaon it appears. No wonder I don't remember.
Link? Also, who?
Can we ask him to sign a non-compete or non-disclosure agreement?

Poor Jake. Odds are KC just wins it in regulation if they were forced to go for the TD, but still stings I bet.
So much golf

The 2006 Crable late hit. How different the next decade of Michigan football could have been if we had beat Ohio that day.
Will always be too soon.

Why was that not a pin at the end?
If the starters aren’t motivated, that’s on the coach.
What schools are those? Miami, FSU, Clemson, and ND? Pretty easy for four teams to join in.

A statement I actually agree with.
It was!

Something about houses built around the turn of the century. I just don’t care for them.
