the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection

...which is funny because the whole reason UConn dumped a ton of money into football to go D-I was to try and capitalize on the large alumni base in the NYC market and displace Syracuse (really) as the 'default' New York home team for college football. If Michigan wants a big stadium, I'd bet they could sell a decent number of seats in Foxboro, which is not especially far from Storrs. |

Can we get a Chart?Chart. on 1938 Michigan? |

The average Miami student barely sees the inside of a classroom. I'm guessing the stable of semi-professional athletes down there is much the same way. |

"Hollywood" is the main Fort Lauderdale airport. This is actually its first flight at 469RJ; it landed at Willow Run yesterday as 469AL! For what it's worth, it is Ypsilanti based, and gets around a lot, although I can see no connection to UM or the football program in general. Perhaps someone with a better font of knowledge can suss out any relation between the destinations and the athletic department. |

Funny the Gator Bowl guy mentioned the weather. Jacksonville is not guaranteed warm on January 1. In the 50s there today, and weather like that can happen any time from now to mid-March. Even if it's nice, it's more golf weather than beach weather. |

Jax (aside from being a terrible place) can get a little chilly in the winter. Warmer than Michigan, but nowhere near beach weather. |
