37 weeks 3 days ago	I think the OP's point is	I think the OP's point is that rhetoric about Michigan's greatness is meaningless unless it's consistently proven on the playing field. The alternative to saying "This is Michigan Fergodsakes" is not "This is is not Michigan Fergodsakes," just as the alternative to saying "Our goal is to win the Big Ten" is not saying "We don't want to win the Big 10." The alternative is realizing that the season is long and grueling, and early success each year shouldn't make you overly optimistic to the point that you run your mouth only to then lose to your biggest rivals. That said, it's tough to win when your offensive line is soft in the middle. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
