Back in 2015, 247 had his ranked as the #141 recruiter in the nation. This is not me saying he is a bad recruiter, just posting something I read. Also, working at Indiana is bound to reflect on your ability to recruit.
KEVIN JOHNS, Indiana National rank; 133 Big Ten rank: 19 Number of commitments: 7 Highest rated commitment: Three-star wide receiver Leon Thornton Next IU coach in the rankings:Greg Frey (141) Details: Johns is the primary recruiter on Thornton, and is also the secondary recruiter on offensive tackle Brandon Knight – who is ranked slightly higher than Thornton in the 247Sports Composite.
Needless to say, Marlin has always been a favorite of mine. Always such a humble, hard working guy.
I will always remember reading an article from when Marlin was being recruited (which is where I got my User Name). Marlin had moved in with his high school football coach because he didn't have anywhere else to live. When the coach asked him what he wanted for Christmas, his answer was "underwear". It always helped me keep things in context when I see people criticize some of these kids, and pass judgement without know the person or the facts. For some people, this decision will help dictate whether they go on to great things, or whether they return to a life where fresh underwear is not a given. Just remember that.
Go Blue! Go Marlin, a true Michigan success story!!!
Maybe Dorian Maddox is the silent. And those two tweets are mutually exclusive. Like, congrats to 2 dudes for choosing Stanford. And also, congrats to these other 2 dudes for choosing Michigan. Neg away!
Speaking of Belgian beers. The bartender just informed me that King Leopoldo was histories 3rd most prolific mass murderer behind Mao and Stalin. Discuss.
There is a great app I use called Untappd. It helps track the beers you like and suggest places / brews to try based on your preferences. I would highly recommend it.
Perhaps instead of looking for a new QB, we should bring attention to those recruits and players who chose to believe in Michigan and who stuck with their commitment throughout this process.
Thank you Alex Malzone and company for your faith in the process. Can't wait to watch you take the field for the Maize and Blue!!!
It's not like I'm saying anything earth-shattering. Isn't ALL information at one point "premium"? It's not like any (most) of us have a direct line to recruits.
Yes, Dukes is from Columbus area, but is a life long fan of Blue. This will be his first ever trip to AA. However, his coach aparently told him not to commit while on his trip... not that he doesn't like Michigan, but he wants the kid to really digest the trip, and not act on impulse.
Fox is visiting a few schools in the Midwest, not just AA.

Well, he recruited to ASU for 1 year, and Navy before that... recruiting to a service academy has to be very tough.
Wearing the Super Bowl ring can't hurt on the recruiting trail.

OK, sorry. I thought I did source it by saying it was from Rivals. My bad. Sorry Rivals.
I hope you're right. Again, just conveying a message, not pretending to have any knowledge outside of what I read.
What about Gunner Kiel? Is he still floating around out there?

Perhaps we should shut this thread down until we know more.
I made a suggestion to increase the functionality of the site;, to better direct people to information they may be interested in receiving.
Nobody is playing any "card". Let's let Aquaman decide for himself.
Can Aquaman please start naming his posts with some sort of "AM: XXXXX"?
Sort of how Tom used to.
I think we can all agree on this.

Scott Orndoff is the Wisco TE commit. He is listed as a soft verbal and has a Michigan offer.

I think what I posted is pretty much harmless.

My vote is for "Will the Thrill".
