1 week 1 day ago	A lot of people say things	A lot of people say things like this, but few work hard enough to be successful (not in reaching their stated goals necessarily).  I think Peppers seems like the Kobe Bryant-type who may put some people off with his confidence, but is obviously a great player because of his determination and hard work.  Kobe wants to be greater than Jordan.  That will never happen.  But he has certainly had a great career.
1 week 1 day ago	Well, no.  Because UTEP	Well, no.  Because UTEP  ummm, isn't exactly an elite university for anything.  Tim Sr said he was a little bitter that he wasn't more highly recruited coming out of Chicago.  Plus I think they also had a better program back then than now.  But I think it's safe to say Michigan was a better option for Tim Jr.  And I don't believe Purdue ever offered GRIII.  If they did it was really late.  That was a bit of a story during his recruitment and this year.  Painter made up some BS that his class was already full but that was not true.  He just never showed enough interest.

1 week 5 days ago	Somewhat different set of	Somewhat different set of circumstances.  There are several schools in Philadelphia with better basketball programs.  St. John's in NYC and the University of Maryland are both closer than PSU and better choices for top recruits out of Philly.  Georgetown too.

3 weeks 1 day ago	Not really, but maybe.  We	Not really, but maybe.  We have Ricky Doyle in hand, a 6'9" guy with nice back-to-basket game but probably a high three star type.  I think he was hurt for much of this year, so he could show great improvement and move up into the top 100 range.  After that we have been in on Devin Booker for a long while.  He's a high 4-star type SG who seems to be pretty interested in some of his newer offers such as Duke, UNC, Kentucky.  We may have a good chance with him, but he seems to have opened his recruitment up.  His dad Melvin played at Mizzou, and they're in his top group too.  Next up is Trevon Bluiett:  6'5"ish, plays fairly slow and low to the ground but can make shots from anywhere.  Top 50ish, silky touch.  I think he is purported to be headed to Bloomington, but we would be in his top 3 or so.  After that it falls off.  There's a kid from Warren DeLasalle who might be good, but is pretty skinny right now.  He's probably ours if we offer.  Ummm there are some more candidates for offers that I can't think of right now.  There are rumblings about picking up interest from Kevin Looney, a 6'8" very athletic forward from Milwaukee, he's a top 10 guy but Michigan hasn't been tightly involved with him.  In summary, if we get everyone, it will be good.  If we get no one, it will be ok.
