You can get 6 years to play 4 if both of his redshirt years are medical. In his case they would be. |
| 3 years 2 weeks ago | However, |
expanding to 16 teams not only expands the footprint but it greatly expands the programming. Adding 5 teams greatly expands the number of football and basketball matchups every week and it's live programming that sells advertising revenue. Right now there's too much dead time in the programming which attracts almost no audience. Watch, almost all the commercials on the network come during live games. |

and .413 in Big Ten games. I'm dumbfounded by a few things Ritter says--like "sometimes it's better to get an single than a home run because it keeps the rally going". Very Palinesque. |

it's not to jump to premature conclusions about anything. We have some minimal, bare-boned facts and anything beyond that is speculation or opinion. Be patient enough to learn the real facts and smart enough to form your own opinions, and, when no one asks, it's not a bad ideal to keep your opinions to yourself. |
| 3 years 30 weeks ago | Canham may be a legend, |
but he did a lot of things that were wrong. Where shall I start. Almost every coaching hire was done on the cheap. He let Johnny Orr go because he would only pay him peanuts, didn't even try to keep him. The hockey program went off the cliff for several years until he finally hired Red, who was loyal enough and rich enough to work for way below market value. The baseball program went on probation and never really recovered until Maloney came years later. All women's sports were treated as a joke under Canham. He slow played title 9 in every way he could. Now we're consistently strong in many women's sports. He made almost no improvements to any facilities in any sport except Canham Natorium which was done on the cheap and had to be largely gutted within 10 years of its being built. His crown jewel was hiring Bo, and his entire reputation is built on that one hire. Bo had more to do with filling the stadium than Canham ever did, but I give him some of the credit as well. |

Sept, 26, 2008? Please I don't want to relive that year again. |
| 3 years 38 weeks ago | So, you don't want Martin to |
So, you don't want Martin to aggressively seek out money, you don't want donors who build practice facilities acknowledged, you want to enjoy all the amenities and you want all the privileges to go to people who gave modest amounts of money 30 years ago when Michigan didn't have any women's sports to support. If you knew your history you'd know that Yost had to deal with many people just like you, and happily he either ignored or defeated them. |
