I know Texas is Texas and all, but for some reason I thought they were slow out of the gate this year.  nope.

1 year 17 weeks ago	seems obvious	The staff thinks highly of both Lewan and Schofield, but who backs up the tackles?  That is a serious question.  this past year we had 3 legitimate tackles when you include Huyge.  Huyge is now gone so they need to give the incoming guys an opportunity to back up the tackle spots because we have a LITTLE more flexibility at the gaurd spot.  Kalis is know to be the "most ready" of the O-linemen we are bringing in.
1 year 17 weeks ago	Googling Devin Gardner	I used to get all my Mich info from Freep, AA.com, etc... The day Devin Gardner was to announce where he was heading to college the above sites had nothing posted.  I googled Devin's name to see if he had annouced yet and this site popped up as one of the choices.  I clicked and have been hooked ever since.  My work now suffers.  It is a risk I must take.

I would be curious as to your thoughts on the whole Rich Rod and Alabama courtship and how you ended up getting Saban.  It obviously turned out really good for you in the end, but how devasted was the fan base when RR turned down the Tide?  And how was the reaction to the Saban hiring?  Did you feel at the time that Alabama got the better deal in the end.  Did anyone envision anyting remotely close to what Saban has acomplished?  Sorry to the board for brining up RR here, but I am really curious how the reaction in Bama was over this time period. Thanks RDT.
