Any folks with tickets to both sessions know if Michigan will have the same sections allocated on a Saturday? They were the “Home” team today. Looking to buy for Saturday and want to make sure there is no change.
Normally I would say yes because they remain the higher seed, but currently FSU is the acting “home” team.
I entirely believe that this offense or a slightly improved version of it (once Harbaugh/Drevno get high ceiling prospects and coach their own recruits) could win the Big Ten or the CFB. Consider the fact that we were 5 points away from an undefeated season, and the Big Ten was the strongest it has been in the last decade.
It helped us catch up on our work, and typically coincided well with a big mid-term push. To that end, it gave an extra day to focus your studies at a mid point in the semester. Actually really useful. If students had free time, they could go home for a few days, but my friends rarely actually left.
I care when it involves 16-18 year old kids, and it amplifies the stressful choices needed to determine what to do with the rest of their lives. I am not saying this can not happen, but I do believe it should be handled better.
There's a better way to go about this. My issue with the current situation is that it seems easier to call a recruit like Weaver and be forthright about their offer status prior to or during their fall season. At that point, you have a clearer picture of their personal development and your standing with several of the nation's other top recruits. It's difficult for a kid to push out negative PR if you told them about their status in Oct/Nov.
Seems like an easy fix, and I'm sure Michigan and the coaching staff will push through this. Given Harbaugh's astute social media presence, I doubt he continues to make the same mistake.
Do you even think that staee fans pick up on the misogynistic connotation of the "little sister" chant? Do the women in the stands chant it, as well? I've never been to the Breslin Center, so the reception of that chant is lost on me.
Worried about the potential lack of BLUE support around. Good to hear that there are places to actually watch the game! Would love to meet some of ya'll when I get out there.
It boggles my mind to some extent that prior to today the highest offer (the entire offseason) was 7mil/yr for 2 years from the Yankees, and somehow the Tigers managed to bid against themselves (and the phantom deal from the White Sox) to pay Damon 8 million.
Damon is horrible in the outfield. Has been for years, and it's only going to get worse in a new stadium. Couple that with a decrease in speed, durability, and inflated home run and avg total due to the new Yankee Stadium and you have another overpaid DH on the team.
The positives here are that his offense is consistent and he is a good clubhouse guy.
IGN usually runs the same review across both platforms but for bayonetta they ran 2, because the ps3 version was noticably worse. apparently, the developers had problems using the ps3 cell processor.
I'm playing Demon's Souls right now... The game is ridiculously deep and time consuming but vastly rewarding.
-Fallout 3 is one of the best games on this generation systems.
-Uncharted 2 is undoubtedly the Game of the Year. The single player was one of the best ever, and the online system is absolutely additive.
-Classic: Metal Gear Solid 4 is in a tie as the best game on the system with Uncharted 2.
If I were you, I would play Uncharted 2, simply cause it's downright AMAZING. Then I would play Fallout 3 if you had an insane amount of time... or Demon's Souls if you have hard core gamer skills and can handle a high level difficulty RPG
Most of the improving won't be at Michigan considering he's leaving after this year... And at this point, it's safe to say some of his decisions have cost us games. But how can I complain? Sometimes those crazy 3's go in... right?
It actually surprises me that so many people have a negative outlook on the Cub fanbase. Maybe it's just my personal exposure but Cubs fans have usually displayed a relatively high baseball IQ. When you compound that with the added humility of not having won a championship in 101 years, you get a relatively harmless fanbase.
And I'm doubly surprised that with all the "showing up to drink and have fun" comments about Wrigley, nobody brought up Fenway. The Red Sox fanbase is absolutely dominated by two types of people. The overzealous frat boy and alcohol friendly Irishman. I saw a drunk guy lampoon a five year old kid at a yankees/red sox game for simply wearing a yankees hat. And I've had beer bottles thrown at me just for being in attendance at one of their games.
Jon Paul Morosi of FOX Sports tweeted that the Tigers have not actually expressed interest in Damon. They are counting on Austin Jackson to mature quickly.
I could go into a whole other thread on my issue with Jackson for next season. His strikeout rate is ridiculously high and has not seen the expected decline of a maturing prospect.
went from 29 in 2008 to 12 in 2009. Granted, he was moved from lead-off to the two slot which could explain part of the decrease in that figure. However, that's still a substantial drop. Don't expect more than 20 out of him in 2010.
You should expect the Yankees would match that and simply keep him in Left since they have a spot open there still.
Most baseball execs expect him back in the Bronx anyway. That being said, if the Tigers offered him 9 million for 1 year, he might accept that.
are terrible. Take it from me and watching him play everyday. He simply doesn't have it anymore. That being said, a corner outfield spot is doable. He just looks awkward sometimes when he's fielding. His arm is worse than mine.
His numbers are good at Comerica but consider that, at his age, those will see decline as well.
I just can't believe that they would trade granderson away, only to pick up damon.

I would recommend NOT starting with the Macallan 12. Not the smoothest pour, especially for someone trying to build their scotch legs.
EDIT: And please don't ruin good scotch with a splash of water.
thought this was /s, until it wasn't.
Welcome to the board. Solid first post.
Couldn't agree more. I almost shared a post on Facebook for the first time. Almost.

Then, I need to see a doctor.
Likely rhetorical, but important nonetheless:

We probably can't "lower" them either.

Teams are almost always missing a "key player." We just lost Clark for the year.
FYI, This was me answering "Who the f*** cares?"

The classes starting in January are considered "Winter Semester."
Classes starting in April are consider "Spring Semester.".
It was like that at least since 2006 when I first enrolled as a freshman.
I love how the WHAT EVEN gif makes it look like Harbaugh is casually giving all of us the middle finger.
Has Harbaugh ever said anything even rhetorically offensive regarding women?
It allows me to:
1) Be more productive at work
2) Go out on the weekends.
It's a good thing for me.
Goes back to work
The kid was recruited as a TE but is currently positioned at linebacker.
Scary injury. Wishing him all the best in his recovery.
Bring back Todd Jones
Otherwise, why let the kid visit in the first place?
What is board view?
Maybe because my digital copy of HTTV is now out-of-date.

Already clinched the office pool. It helps living in Arizona and being one of 3 people who picked Wisconsin to beat (both) Wildcats.

Nailed it.
