I’m a native California and started following Michigan in high school when Woodson played ball (I was a corner too). My dad is from Ohio and a die hard buckeye fan. I have zero connection with the school and I am pretty obsessed with Michigan athletics. Even though I didn’t graduate from college there I still bleed maize and blue. I love everything about Michigan and absolutely fucking hate being called a “Walmart Wolverine” I almost feeling like telling people to go fuck off when they say that shit but whatever it’s a free country and isn’t going to change my support for the athletics or the school.
And they clearly state NO READMITTANCE on the ticket. I’m also from the Bay Area and my daughter missed a ton of school from the fires so we are making a day trip out of it too. Go Blue
And I agree that it was more than I wanted to spend however living on the west coast how many times are we going to play in the sweet 16 out here and my daughter is 11 and loves Michigan basketball more than football. Well worth the money for the lifetime memory for her first game
Every year after the game I get so pissed and just feel like I’m done with Michigan but Basketball comes around a saves me.
FYI if Rich Rod never came here I wouldn’t even be watching basketball. I started watching them after his first season because it I figured we’d win more than 3 games. Ever since then I’ve been addicted

I tell this to everyone I know and have to remind my wife from time to time that it’s literally 13 days a year and I don’t watch nfl so it’s not like we’re missing out on an entire weekend
Wedding ceremony in 2011 because of the damn weather delay against western Michigan. Finally they called the game and I hauled ass to the wedding. Best part was it was a beach wedding and by the time I showed up it was over and everyone including my wife were walking to the reception. Nobody had a clue except obviously my wife so that was awesome!

Because every game I've watched from start to finish we lose. So I decided not to watch the Big Tournament and we won, then during march madness I didn't watch either game after the 2nd half and we won. Today I'm at work and get off when it's over.
