This is good news. The more Michigan is in these 5*'s radar, the better chances we have of landing one here and there. I would almost say that UM is close to becoming a national powerhouse in the recruiting game, if it isn't already. Was Carr considered a good recruiter? I've only started following recruiting closely in the last couple of years. We all know what R.R. accomplished. If just seems like Michigan was a sleeping giant, with all the resources in the world and Hoke knows how to take advantage of those resources and push the brand and get recruits to believe in it. |

I think I agree that Speight could push Morris. Morris at this point is kind of a gunslinger, has all the arm strength in the world, but as the OP mentioned, Speight looks so effortless in his delivery and seems to have very good accuracy. Morris in the Under Armor game didn't really blow away alot of people, although he didn't play much his senior season which could have affected that performance. |

Yeah, I didn't think about the QB situation. In 2015 Morris will either be a RS Soph. or true Junior but if DG stays on thru 2014 then 2015 will Morris's first season at the helm. Hopefully by then the OL will be absolute road graders and Green & Smith will be animals in the backfield and make Morris's job easy. Fingers are crossed. |

This would be awsome if they broke up the FBS (D-1A). Nobody takes the teams from the MAC, Sunbelt, WAC, etc. serious anyway. If those teams just played in their own division and the major schools just played each other in their own division, I think that would create better games and competition overall. |

Meyer was supposed to go national and Hoke was supposed to focus on the state of Michigan and surronding states. I don't know how many is projected in the OSU 2014 class but at the moment is kind of average. |
