I won a National Championship

I won a National Championship in Division 3 baseball in 2006.

I hit a two run homerun in the National Title game to break the 0-0 tie. I also caught the last out of the game, a flyout to right.

I also knocked the bat boy's front two teeth out with the weighted bat before my first at bat that game. I felt god awful until I hit the 2 run jack!

Marietta College has the best baseball program in Division 3, and I would be willing to bet top 10 in the country.

Suprised to see Wormley only

Suprised to see Wormley only listed at 6'4". He has been listed at 6'6" - 6'7" at different times.

Nothing like letting the

Nothing like letting the arrow fly, watching it connect, and then sitting in your tree stand for the next twenty minutes shaking because of the rush.

I got my first bow kill this fall. It dropped right in its tracks. I sat in my tree stand for 20 minutes, shaking because of the rush. I also tried to take about 100 pictures with the camera phone.

The only thing I like about

The only thing I like about living in Ohio is the deer hunting. The deer herd down here is amazing. I have some truly majestic photos taken by my trail cam from last fall.

Nebraska is using 2 additional fan bases to help them. It would be great to stick this to them, MSU and tsio.

Podcast

Does anybody know how to listen to the podcast over at WTKA? I don't know how to listen to them with this new podcast page they have.

Not a student. 25 year old man. I don't understand what that has to do with it.

Since we are telling cool stories, I was at Buffalo Wild Wings yesterday and sat by Ron Thompson. He was in a Michigan football t shirt and sweats..

Very telling..

If the ball comes to a stop

If the ball comes to a stop he can make the call. It does not need to be touched.

Fair going foul.

Fair going foul.

It becomes a judgement call

It becomes a judgement call by the ump then. Whether the ball was in fair or foul territory when the player touched it.

When the balled is fouled off

When the balled is fouled off home plate and bounces straight up and the catcher catches it in fould territoy its a foul ball. So i think it's just where the ball is.

Quick Search

From this quick search I did, I think that call should of been a Foul Ball.

"The position of the fielder's body or feet, have absolutely nothing to do with judging whether a ball is fair or foul. The judgment is based solely upon the relationship between the BALL and the LINE at the moment the fielder touches the ball, or at the moment the ball comes to a stop, or on outfield fly balls; the moment it touches the fielder or the ground.

Batted balls that go in-flight from the bat and first touch the ground in the outfield (fly ball to the outfield), are judged a bit different from batted balls that go from the bat and first touch the ground in the infield, before reaching first or third base (ground balls.)

Home plate is irrelevant. Home plate is in fair territory, but other than that, it is just the same as the ground. A ball that hits the plate first, or ends up on the plate, is no different from any other batted ball."

Yiiiippppeeee

Sounds like a terrific kid off the field as well. This makes me smile. :)

B-Day

Its your Birthday Tom! Take the rest of the day off and have one for me.

Would you rather?

Would you rather get lucky on your birthday, or have two 5* recruits commit to Michigan?

Heater

Did he throw it and catch it himself?

Happy Birthday Tom

Happy Birthday TomVH. No other man has satisified me the way you have over the internet. Thank you for all your hard work.

Do we expect anything else

Do we expect anything else givin the track record of dicipline there?

This whole scenario may work

This whole scenario may work out well for us. Tressel is susspended 5 games, he comes back coaches 1 or 2 games and thinks he's in the clear. Then the NCAA comes down with their punishment and OSU has no choice but to can him in the middle of their season. All the recruits open back up. We swoop in, snatch up all their tallent. We beat them, and Pryor goes all LeGarrett Blount on some fans, and is black balled in the draft.

Not to mention going right

Not to mention going right into a MSU feeder and plucking away all their talent. Close relatives of mine go/went to MSU and they are now starting to get pissed.

"We are big ten champs, we should have a top 10 class." lol

Hoke and Co.

There are doing a far better job then anyone could have imagined. They are going down swinging with every recuit they offer. I cant wait until this team wins 9-10 games here soon and the recuits start pouring in.
