I coach varsity football at Ishpeming High School, and we have a player with Down Syndrome. The MHSAA is not allowing him to join any sports for his senior year of high school and the entire community is in an uproar. Please help us get an out dated and discriminatory by-law changed. USC didn't mind too much when they hired Ken Norton Jr. as a LB coach, and produced massive NFL talents. It may not have to be Ty Law, but I like the fact of bringing a former UofM player back.
Is there any way we can sneak the 280 lb DT Michael Thornton in with this class to add to the depth on the D-line?? ESPN has him listed as one of the players considering us.
I hope Kinard is good to go, and that we pull in Jake Ryan. Throw these two guys in with Josh Furman, Rogers, and Hawthorn, and I think we've got a pretty dynamic LB class for the next 4 years
