I wonder what Nealy would think of your thoughts of him being a "guy that can probably play the slot." I see you're one of the many people that get caught up in star ratings and hype machine. Truth is no one knows how a recruit will turn out. Plenty of 5 start recruits have been busts, and plenty of 2 and 3 star recruits have made the pros and had successful careers. Do Nealy some justice and don't shun the kid off because he's just some "decent recruit that could play WR" Nealy is a good recruit who with a year of work in the weight room with Barwis could have the chance to be a spitting image of Noel Divine, or Reynaud. I hope potential recruits don't get on this sight and see how quick everyone is to down play one recruit in favor for another. If he got an offer and scheduled a visit, I'll take the coaches word for it and give him a chance.

He said something along the lines of "Everyone's talking about that kid that don't tie his shoes at Michigan, It's my first year and I'm better then that kid by a mile I just have more weapons on my team or else I could get 400 a game too" What a dick head
I agree that at the end of the season we have to take some time and interview some other defensive coordinators because GERG is not getting the job done. We should see some kind of improvement from year one to year two. The defense is holding this team back from being an elite squad. Recruits look at our defense and probably laugh at how poorly it is run and coached. somehing has to be done.
That is a really great question. I like the idea of taking the others 1997 NCAA title trophy for a season. Although that's not probable I'm sure they will come up with something since the game is going to be very important every year.
Headed to A2 from upstate NY! Can't wait to see Brock lead the boys out to dominate the Huskies. If you see a fan that's not getting loud politely ask them to step it up!! We need this place rocking!!
I'm hoping for a 6-3 game where Dane Christ can't do anything right. Brian Kelly looks like a leprechaun and I don't know why but I can't stand him. Probably because he coaches ND but I hated him before that because of how cocky he is.
Rooting for Marshall is just setting yourself up for a let down. They have zero chance. Watch the games that are meaningful and just enjoy the fact that college football is back. However should the game be close into the fourth quarter I'll turn it on and hope for the best!

The importance of a fast start is vital. We ended the season last year on a 5 game losing streak. Continuing that streak would strip us of any confidence we had heading into the season. Getting a big win is huge. Especially with all of the rededication stuff and watching Brock beat all the doctors that told him he wouldn't walk again. We will not lose this game. We will prevail big time. Have faith and GO BLUE
