Ha

Harbaugh himself said schollies were merit based and could be pulled.

Or are you the type of fan who pushes shit under the carpet like Penn State? Try to think of the long run.

He could

He could totally be correct, and the article says so. If it was Urban who was pulling multiple schollies 1 month before signing day, would a recruit want to play for a coach like that.

If you take your maize and blue glasses off you may be able to judge correctly.

Get some balls

Having zero morals isn't something to be proud about son. Unless you're 12.

ha

His point was pretty clear. You may not be the best reader, and that isn't a compliment either.

You

You obviously have never been recruited and are ignorant of the HUGE amount of money, time and effort it goes into researching, visiting, talking, discussing about everything from coaches, distance, academics, majors, playbook, facilities, support.

This is almost impossible to do with 3 weeks left and with most top tier schools near filled up. So try getting off your own high horse.

Ha

Brian himself, who knows way more insiders than we do, said "Swenson's situation is considerably more sketch" said and wouldnt have much to defend if someone blasts Michigan after signing day unless more info comes out.

Perhaps you should tell it to his face to keep wringing his hands, internet hero

How

Bo still gave his guys schollarships and a chance to compete.  How amazing you write 3 paragraphs that say pretty much nothing. I repeatedly use the word "IF TRUE". Perhaps you should actually read before posting. And hey since you seem to be 12 years old, maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

Ha

Hahaha, unlike you, I don't care if I get banned from an internet blog! I didn't know being able to post here was so important in your life.

FYI I stayed in Alice Lloyd before moving to Couzens sophomore year. Back then both had dining halls though both had bad food and we walked down to Stockwell to also see the ladies.

How sad to see fans like you throw away everything Bo built up. You give Michigan a bad name. Brian himself is also disturbed by this, so why don't you call him a troll and try to ban him? hahaha

I

At least I use 'IF'. You assume everything is perfect. We're both assuming son.

Try to grow a pair and find something called integrity. Something Bo had a lot of.

Brian himself said this was disturbing. Accuse him of being a troll too son.

You seem to be new to society

You seem to be new to society and young, so I'll cut you some slack on being extremely self centered and naive. I've been around way longer than you have, but haven't bothered to post on this blog like you, which you think makes you superior.

People respected Bo and Michigan a lot because the way he cared, his integrity and honesty. If you don't care about that at all, hey, good luck in life.

I'm honoring Bo, you're pissing on his legacy. Some Michigan fan you are.

The guys

The guys disappointed at the lack of integrity and morals are the ones that will defend you when this shit happens to you.

But hey I guess you wont' care if a job offer is pulled after you accept and quit your old job.

My first

Why, for being disappointed at the lack of integrity if this story is true? I'm the type of guy that would stand up to defend you if somebody else pulled something like this to you(IF true)

My first Big House game was in '02 freshman year. The only reason I signed up is because like many people here I'm hoping Michigan didn't just pulled a schollie right before signing day to a kid who kept his word for almost 3 years and didn't take a single visit elsewhere during that time.

If

IF this story is true, pulling a schollie right before signing day, when most top tier schools are filled up IS ambushing in my opinion.

Would you be OK with a Michigan pulling your sons acceptance right before school starts because they found someone smarter.

Now any coach or parent may not trust a Michigan schollie and visit other schools every weekend. The staff will have no idea who's really committed or not. Lack of trust causes way more headaches.

Bo

Bo never walked on water, but he was famous for being tough but fair.

If you want to say Bo would have broke promises and pulled schollies for someone else faster and strong, go right ahead. I guess you don't care about being a Michigan Man either.

You see

People are disppointed in this story(IF true) because it likely shows lack of integrity and morals. If you don't value either, hey good for you.

One

One troll told him to go back to the NFL. Lets try not to create a sensation out of nothing, shall we.

So hey

IF this story is true, in the future, lets say you quit your job because you accepted another. And that new job suddenly cancels its offer because they found someone younger and smarter. And your old job has already hired someone else.

Don't complain then.

All

All the top tier schools are almost full, and its very difficult to find a good fit with coaches, localtion, academics, football etc. Thats a 'fucking fact'.

Try to put yourself in someone elses shoes for once in your life.

So hey

If your kid or brother gets accepted to a school, but gets his spot cancelled because they found smarter kids, thats OK?

If this story is true, Bo would never do that. Integrity should be important to a Michigan Man, but I guess you don't care about any of that.

OK

OK, so if your kids get accepted to a nice school, but get their spot pulled 3 weeks before school starts because they found smarter kids, don't complain.

Tough

Tough decisions that comprimise your and your schools integrity is not something to be proud of. In fact, I'd argue great leaders are ones that keep their integrity rather than chase glory.

Bo never won a natty and lost almost 3 games a year, but he did it cleanly and people love him.

Recruits, parents and coaches will all take notice.

Because

Thats his character. Tough but honest. Doesn't throw anyone under the bus.

His last 10 years he had a 95 schollie limit.

He never won the natty, and averaged a 9-3 season.

But he was beloved because, as far as we can tell, he did it cleanly.

Bo

Bo would never look a recruit in the eye and than pull a schollie 3 weeks before signing.

Thats just dishonesty and lack of integrity, but I guess winning natties is more important to you.

Ha

All the big teams like OSU and Alabama has moved on. Saying your only good enough until someone better comes along is a terrible, terrible example to set. That means every recruit we have should visit every school every weekend, the coaching staff will have no idea whos commiteed and whos not.

If true, terrible example to set. Bo would never look a recruit in the eye, give a schollie, and then go back on his word.

I disagree

Saying you're only good enough for us until we find someone better is a terrible example to set.

There is no loyalty is accountability at all. Bo, a man of his word, would never pull things like this.

Disappointed

If the staff really just cut him in order to sign better players, thats really disappointing of Harbaugh.

Bo would never do this, he has way more integrity than that.
