I live in kent and this is the first showing By a football team in 40 years. That team included a few good players. Saban, Lambert just to name a few. Yeungling put up a few busses as well to transport people. Josh Cribbs who is always giving back to the school put up 4 busses to the game. Go Flashes. Nice to see the turn around so quick.
31-17 232 rushing
Shane Morris. Getting beat up. He's getting hit before he finishes his drop back. Walking a little gingerly on sideline now. De le salle down 35-0 7 left in the second quarter.
De la salle Lucky to be down 21-0. 11:00 left in the second quarter. Dropped passes by la salle receivers and the secondary is horrible.
Sorry to high jack. Shane looking sharp against st ign. Three pick in end zone first drive. It was the second of the two dropped passes. St ign. Is pretty good. Again though Shane on point.
Ben Gedeon Shouldn't have a problem getting out to see him. I live about 15 minutes from Hudson. Dymonte might not be too hard either to get out to see. He is scrimmaging my home town team this weekend. If I can get out I will definitely give some amature scouting reports on the games.
Sorry to high jack thread. I have two tickets for sale to the Michigan Bama game if anyone is interested. Section 242 row 7 seats 7-8 behind the michigan band. Would like 400$ to ease the pain of not being able to go. They are the 175$ tickets. [email protected]
I agree But as you stated things could've gone different. Touchdown overturned, dropped td pass by Vincent Smith, a clear pass interference. All inside the 10 against Iowa. Had a chance late against state but Borges got a little goofy with play calling. Easily could've been 13-0 as well as 9-4. I'll take 11-2.
I have to agree as well. Imagine Shane as a 5th year senior. Him having a year under Borges before his first start would be awesome. Plus with DG getting the number 12 jersey that Shane wants this would allow that.
Tickets I unfortunately am not gonna be able to attend the UM/bama game which I had my aunt order me tickets for. I do not have my tickets in hand yet as she lives on the west coast and is visiting soon with them. If anyone is interested in them for face value message me and when I receive them will tell you seat locations. I will be watching though when we beat Bama and crying at the same time that I wasn't there for what I feel is gonna be another Michigan classic. Email me at [email protected]
Drake Johnson Don't forget about this kid. Tore up senior year. Not small and fast if I recall.
Cool to see Got to see a few roll through downtown Ravenna yesterday. Pretty neat to see. Picture on front page of the paper today. Of course knew what was going on thanks to the board for my news.
Was waiting on the thread. Bates-Diop offered by UM as well. Both have the potential to make big steps up the board. Beilein and Bacari are doing a good job with early evaluations.
Stricklin Living in kent I'm very familiar with KSU. He would be the better of the choice. While Ohio isnt a huge hotbed for bb talent he has made it work. The last few years there has been a handful of pitchers drafted from KSU. A few who are contributers in the bigs.
My guess Jordan Kovacs. He walked on and has done nothing but impress. Team captain and heart of our defense. He would be well deserving.
I agree with a lot of you That this was totally a shock. But also a position of need. Could we have maybe used the pick on a skill position. Absolutely. I trust hoke and company on what they are doing. The impact he has had already is tremendous. With only a few spots left it may be a slight strategy to get the remaining recruits to think about limited spots available and force them to rush their decision to join the number one recruiting class in the nation.
Thanks for the breakdown. Posted in the Mike Farrel thread about this. Appreciate the breakdown.
Thanks. I remember seeing that now that you mention it. So what your saying is we are setting the bar then.
Just curious. As of right now our recruiting class for 2013's point total on rivals would put us as the second best class last year. We are about 50 points behind where Bama finished for the top class last year. With good shots at some of the best talent left and 3-4 spots to fill what is the highest point total a class has ever had? Could we possibly be the best recruiting class ever for any school? Point wise.
Can't C me. One of my favorite Tupac songs. Gets me pumped every time.
Great song. I bartend and request it every night I work. Not a lot of people do know it.
Gonna miss Denard. The example he has set for a star player to be active within the university and supporting other athletics is not heard of today. We will be good with Shane coming in though. I think he is gonna follow in the footsteps of Denard. The work and support he's already put in already has made him just as likable.
Was thinking the same thing. Imagine bellomy who the coaches say is so accurate at QB with denard and fitz in the backfeild and devin split out wide. DC would not know what to expect.
Cravens and McCray The two have been chatting on twitter. And like the above mentioned McCray was giving a s/o to sugar Shane and Dymonte via twitter last night. McCrays closing speed on the QB in his highlight tape is sick. Just speculation.
Hilltoppers My heart goes out to the families in Chardon. People around NE Ohio are wearing red and black today to support the hilltoppers colors. That being said My problem is with the parents. If you have a gun in the house it should be locked. Parents need to be held accountable for these tragedies as well. I think if an incident like this occurs where a weapon was used from within the home a strong mandatory sentence should be imposed on the parents. People might start locking their guns and incidents like these might occur less.
