I hate it when people reveal the outcome of a game in the title! I record the games and watch them later. Can't you make it vague and bitch in the subject?
Why do people think we are going to make a "statement" if we hire Miles? There is a reason that a lot of LSU fans are happy that he might leave. People know that the only reason he is leaving LSU for UM is because he went here. So I don't think it's some huge "statement" by hiring him.
Maybe the reason Patterson and Jimbo Fisher's contracts were extended all of a sudden are because DB has asked for permission to speak with them. Just because we don't know who he is talking to doesn't mean he isn't talking.

I don't mean that EVERY fan that is critical of him is a "hater" or thinks he's "scum of the earth", but there are MANY out there that do. On talk radio, at my job, tweets from former players, media, within the program, ect... a lot of people just flat out hate him.
I wouldn't expect him to change his mind just from tonight's banquet. I'm just pissed that the majority of RR haters don't know who he really is as a person (not saying that I do) and think he is scum of the earth and not a Michigan man. Most people just believe all the negative things they read about him and don't see all of the good things that he does.
I honestly believe that he's gone. I hate like hell to say that, but I don't see any reason for DB to let this string out for a month if he was bringing him back. I think he wants Michigan players to be able to practice and play for they're coach in the bowl game because they deserve that and the same with Stanford's kids.
I love this whole thread! I can't remember the last time I read through a whole thread with nothing but positive things said about RR. I'm completely 100% ALL IN for him and this team.
I really can't understand the hatred for this guy ever since he got here. Think about it, he left his alma mater, a place he was worshiped and loved to come here and coach this team. Not for money, but because Michigan is the best football program in the country! It wasn't his fault that he didn't fully research all of our traditions and know everything about UM history right away. The media and hater fans can all go to hell!
It seems like he is waiting for Braylon to tell him who deserves it. He's said in the past that he's not touching that subject because it got him in trouble before.
I was watching Inside Michigan Football today and in the interview with JT Floyd it looks like he is wearing the new jersey. It isn't a practice jersey because the Adidas logo on the practice jersey is off to the side and not in the middle. Anyone else notice? Not sure how I can get a picture up on here.
Wow, I had no idea it was closed to the public. 2 years ago at the spring game I got there early and walked right in and spent like an hour in there. All the recruits were in there too. Surprised nobody said anything to me.
I love the idea of taking the wings away from players who show up to fall camp not ready. Camp is only 3 - 4 weeks and that isn't enough time to get the players in shape and teach them the schemes and everything else that goes along with getting ready for big time football. They should show up in shape so that 100% of that time is dedicated to learning. All of these players at some point have been told that they need to work hard and be ready, but some of them just think they can show up and because of their name they will start. I'm willing to bet that Tate knew he should have done more to get ready for camp but didn't. So what is RR supposed to do to get it through their heads? People think we should treat these kids like babies and not hurt their feelings. Players just need to grow up and do some work.
Last year the line was crazy so I couldn't get in before they shut it down. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have better luck. I plan on getting there around 6:30.
No way Everett is a better fielder than Santiago. I'm not saying Santiago is great, but Everett was bad for someone who has only 1 function on the team and that is his fielding. Just wondering, How did you feel about Edgar Renteria's fielding a couple years ago? I thought he was equally as bad as Everett.
I'm not an expert but I do watch nearly every Tigers game all year and I don't know what anybody sees in Everett. I would go with Santiago, I think he is a lot better fielder, and is decent with the bat. Runs bases better as well.
TomVH reported that Ash comitted to WV. Then later he reported that even though he was comitted to WV he said he was still visiting us.

You're probably right, but I did read late last week (sorry forget which site) that he was asked about that and he responded saying that he would return next year.
I would've never brought it up except for it being a coaches son knowing they should be able to afford it. But I do realize that it is a bad idea. My bad!
Don't know if this is even possible, but could a recruit's parents pay they're way and have them become walk-ons? Maybe Jeremy Jackson to help the team out and free up a scholarship.
I watched him do it on TV and and it was out of aggression. I look at it this way, if I was at the game with my son and we got up after the last out to leave and my son got clocked in the head from the baseball that he through I would be supper pissed! I think the punishment fits the crime! I do like Rodney, but that was uncalled for.
I think D-Rob is great, but I don't think he'll beat out Tate. He'll be used in special packages but Tate will get 90% of the snaps, so I don't think D-Rob will have a chance to be as good as Pat White. I think Tate will be the man for the next few years.
