Congrats to him and his decision (whatever that may be). I think the Derek Dennis situation will push him to sign. If you didn't know Dennis is the kid who turned down $700,000 out of HS to come to UM to play. He's struggling this year.
LaMarre is an outstanding kid too. I've seen him interact with kids and fans after the games. He talks to every kid and signs every autograph. He comes from a great (big) family and they are all first class people as well.
Being at the games, I've noticed and talked to many scouts. They like him as a player and as a person.
Really needed at least 2 out of 3 against Iowa, maybe PSU can unleash on OSU like they did yesterday.
It'll be interesting to see if we can jump on Wimmers early next Friday, if at all. Kid is a 1st rounder with sick stuff.
Kendall Rogers may need another email on Lamarre. To hit .500 in any level of baseball is outstanding. His draft stock is soaring.
I'm excited to see how well the Freshmen and the starting pitching perform. I hope the loss of Fetter won't be too much. Dufek is a solid player and adds some pop. If LaMarre improves in his Junior season like he did from his Fr. to Soph. season, he will be a top 5 round selection IMO.
